Friendly Hotel by M6 junction 10 has had a massive fire this afternoon if anyone has booked rooms for visiting Chameleons

or Xtasia, bit far away but our rooms sold out within 2 hours of the fire for tonight and tomorrow.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

It`s quite worrying that this is the second big chain (it`s a Holiday Inn in this case) that has caught fire in as many weeks. The Premier Inn Cribbs Causeway near Bristol recently caught fire and the surrounding roads were closed for a few days such was the damage!

Luckily booked into another Walsall hotel for the bank holiday last night. I have a feeling prices may have/Will slightly increase now with less rooms in the area.

We have stayed in many Holiday Inns/IHG hotels over the years. It was a shame to see this one go up in flames.

There are hotels around Dudley and Oldbury.. Little bit further, but still an option.
