£50 old room

£70 new rooms.. these are bigger, with mirror on the ceiling and air con.

My personal preference is the Premier Inn which is the "right" side of the M6 and at the weekends, including Friday nights can be very cheap on a non-cancel rate and booked in advance.

Holiday village has a pool or waterfront premiere inn is fantastic if you are traveling by train x
