I really fancy going for my first time to a club. I've heard Friday's are generally quieter than Saturday so this sounds good for a first time?

Fridays are often single men allowed and Saturdays couples and single ladies only. If you want a quieter night for your first time, why not try a midweek evening or Sunday ?

I don't mind single guys. Well, I've been warned though! Busy is ok. Just not manic like I expect it is on a Saturday. Although I'm going on whispers! Need to find out for myself in guess.

Purple Mamba has live music from the ultra-cool KaBen this Friday, with Love to Party...don't think it'll be quiet!

Do your research ... check out club websites & check what event they have on. The right event is as important as the right club!!

Find a night that sounds like it suits you, check the club reviews on here too & then get your sexiest knickers on & you’re good to go!!

Hardest part is walking in the door. After that, you’ll wonder why you were nervous!!

Good luck - keep us posted!

I’m sure you’ll be fine!

I host a couple of club events, so if you want to pick my brains on it, feel free!

Couples and single ladies nights are by far the easiest introduction to a club. Or an event with limited single guys xx

The vanilla alternative festival of fun is a brilliant weekend. Ok so it busy but it is also one of the very best ways to socialise and meet people from the scene. We have taken a few newbies to this event with us now and they have all had a fantastic time. Just tell people you are new and scoping it all out and they'll be more than happy to chat and talk.

Admittedly it takes a bravery pill but it would be well worth it. Great club and facilities too

Hey chick

Recently did my first 2 club visits (once with a friend and once on my own) and although I get it must be a bit different for a woman, I found it the most fun and liberating experience however surreal it seemed at first hahaha

After the initial nerves subsided I met some great people and ended up being the person in the hot tub! But then who can resist a hot tub right?

I discovered it really isn't as daunting as it seems, just take things at your own pace I'm sure you'll have a great time x

It all depends on the club and what they have planned at the weekend.

We tend to go to the attic in Derby.

It's a great club and lots of fun

The party nights tend to he really busy but the Fridays tend to have a good mix of people in

I went to a club some time ago. First time I went with my then partner, second time with another single girl. With the guy it was fine, but with the single girl - we were hounded! I’d say go with others if you can. I’d hate to be hounded but on my own!

It really depends on the club. I enjoy chatting to single guys, but don't get hassled where I go. Some club's give every new visitor a tour and acceptable behaviour is discussed. Any hassling and they are given a firm warning or booted out. So check out club reviews and get an idea what the club is like before going.

This was a club in Bury but it was some time ago.

If I was to try a club again, I’d probably try one much nearer and maybe go with a small group of single girls at first.
