We're venturing a little further afield in a couple of weeks and heading for a night out in the Midlands. But should we go to Xtasia or Chameleons? Experiences and opinions welcome! In particular, please tell me what the poles are like!

Hate these...our answer is to try and visit both, very different and obviously people will have their favourites. What date are you looking at as that makes a difference here on what event is on...same at Chams.

You're going to get a difference of opinion here. Just like some people prefer Chinese food and some Indian! It's best to try one first, going on the club info. Then try the other another time. Both great clubs.

You can break things down quite simply. If it`s the night club style of club Xtasia is the one to visit. If you prefer a dress down style it has to be Chameleons. Both are well run and respected clubs. Chams now has a small dance floor with DJ appearing on the more busy nights, it also has two large jaccuzzis, steam room and sauna. The sun deck is always open rain or shine, even snow!

Both are great clubs, totally different so depends what vibe your after, we mix it up with both xx

We are for _tasia 26th ffff night 27th staying with them in their hotel, was great last time and it has been refurbished from then.

Sorry to jump all over your thread, I hope you don’t mind, but I have similar question as yours.

I’m a complete club virgin, and will be attending as a single male, I want to head out of my area (some fear of bumping into my next door neighbour or postman or something like that!!!

). So was thinking somewhere in the midlands.

I have some free time coming up on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of August.

Can anyone recommend a club that might be suitable, and that will be holding an event or open to single guys on these dates. Would obviously prefer a friendly atmosphere, a young at heart crowd, and somewhere classy rather than tacky...!??

Also any advice for a club virgin single male?!?

If you start your own thread you're more likely to get the info/advice you need, especially if you're trying to arrange something for a particular date.

There are some great threads on club advice for single males too.
