Swinging club as single male

I’m new to this and have never been to a club before. I’m based near Manchester and was thinking of going alone and chatting and seeing what happens.

Any ideas for what to expect and any recommendations for tomorrow late afternoon/evening into the night. When and where is best to go and anything I should know in advance.

Hoping to enjoy chatting to lots of lovely people but totally understand anthying more than that is a bonus.

Clubs are a great way to start your swinging career, meet kinky people and just have a great time.

Go with an open mind, be polite, clean and smelling nice.

Definitely worth trying the club scene. Some people are scared to try clubs which is a shame. Treat it like going to your local pub. If you interact and chat you’ll definitely enjoy it. I’m afraid quite a lot of single guys purely dress down and hover round the playrooms expecting just to play. I have only been to Cupid’s over your way. Definitely would recommend trying there tho

Which Club are you thinking of going to?

Some are spa type others more like a nightclub style.

Have a look at the club reviews section which clubs are near you and which ones appeal to you. Once you find one you like, check their website regarding their requirements for single guys attending the club. As in most clubs, single guys have to register online, they can't just turn up as they, most likely, wouldn't be let in.

Check the club allows single men in on the night you'd like to go, follow their registration process, check what you need to bring on the day and what the dress code is. Also, check whether it is 'bring your own booze' club or if you need to purchase all drinks from there. Make sure you have some cash on you when you go even if the club accepts credit cards.

On the day, go with no expectations whatsoever and with open mind. Be friendly and chatty, but not pushy. Please don't join the hordes of 'wanking dead' (single men following women and couples, wearing just a towel and wanking).

And enjoy

Thanks for the advice

I’ll have a look at the reviews and see what’s on tomorrow.

Anyone free to go with me and show me around? Bit cheeky I know

When I was single a few years ago, I ventured into clubs to get an introduction to the swinging lifestyle. I generally found that you need to be willing to chat to people without worrying too much and without expecting anything necessarily more than a chat.

I could see other single guys who's only mindset was thinking that they would get a quick shag and I never personally thought that was how I wanted to see it or be like; I was more interested in genuinely understanding the community and respecting it.

Anyway, that's my thoughts so hope it's helpful

Absolutely don’t do this!

Clubs don’t like singles pairing up to get a couples entry. Single ladies aren’t generally keen on buddying up with a single guy because being someone’s ‘wingman’ can be restrictive on your own evening, or going in a pair leads to the expectation of play.

Clubs rely on a good mix of SM, SF & couples. Decent clubs will give you a tour on your first visit, explain how it all works & introduce you to people.

Townhouse is on the Wirral, not too far from you and you have Cupid’s in Swinton. Both readily welcome single guys. Amour in Manchester centre has recently reopened, so you could look there too.

Someone above recommended checking out the club reviews. Great advice. Also check the club websites & find an event that suits you. If you’re not bi, there’s no point going on a bi-night for example!! The right event is as important as the right club!

If you want to know any more about Townhouse, feel free to shout, as I host 2 of the events there.

But wherever you try, happy clubbing OP - it’s great fun!!

M xx

Maybe think of going to an event which doesn't have a membership fee for single guys. Like MOTD at Cupid's or Milf Monday at Townhouse. Otherwise membership can be expensive especially if you decide the club scene isn’t for you

Adam and Eves has its followers. We went once and never again. Our opinion is there are definitely better clubs in the area. Cupids in Swinton, Townhouse on the Wirral or newly opened Amour.

I have emailed townhouse about attending tonight.

It says it’s not a guest list event and first timers should be there by 930pm so hopefully will be there for 9-915pm ish and looking forward to the night. Hopefully will get to chat to some great people.

Ah,

It’s a bdsm night and not recommended as a first visit as no swinging is going on. Will have to try townhouse another night by the looks of things. Now to look at the other recommendations for tonight.
