It’s mad, I’m actually a salesman and yet in a club, I struggle to approach people to make conversation! Buy a product from me and I can charm my way to a sale but recently I’ve had this mental block that makes it impossible for me to make small talk.

Can anyone give me any suggestions? Got a few club visits lined up over the next week.

I just look happy and smile at people, hope I look approachable and just say hi, I'm Dave how's things, are you enjoying it here or similar. I just approach people as I would in a pub or bar or normal night out really.

Club Meets Only

Just approach people as you would in a pub or club, hi how are you, have you been here before? Kinda clichéd but gets you talking. Don't isolate yourself to sitting at the side.

A few have pool tables, these are great for a bit of cheeky banter too I can always be found by one

Truth be told, never been one for meeting in bars or clubs either!

Always seems to be friends of friends that I bump into which leads to long term relationships.

Go up to single ladies or couples and say " hello, I'm (name)" and then take it from there.

I guess it depends on the club. Treat it like you would a pub , chat at the bar , in the out door areas , mostly I get talking to people in the hot tub though.
