"Hi all. We are thinking of going to our first spa. No experience in this at all. Can anyone give us some advice of what to expect. What is the dress code if any. Any other advice appreciated Thanks" Hi. It's not too bad overall and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. I've only been on a Saturday evening and it can be fairly quiet sometimes to quite busy other times. As mentioned above, the venue is quite small. You're given a towel with a key when you go in. The ground floor has a small changing room with lockers (difficult to get more than three people in there at the same time) and you give your key back to reception. You keep a tag with your locker number safety pinned to your towel. The wet area is also on the ground floor. Jacuzzi seats about six, steam room about the same and the glass sauna similar. There is a small kitchen where you can get tea, coffee and water/squash. They also put out snacks sometimes. There is a reception area with small tables and chairs with a TV on the wall playing Absolute Radio. Must say, it feels more like a doctor's waiting area than anything else, but anyway. Upstairs are three lockable rooms with one of those providing viewing and a cinema area with three beds. I'd say the cinema shows fairly 'plasticy she looks like she's being constantly directed' type porn, which isn't to my taste, but each to their own. You can also get massages there. If you do, suggest paying for them when you first go in. I believe they are cheaper that way, or at least used to be anyway. Overall it's ok, but not a place I go regularly to. I know your post only asked about Temptations, but in my opinion, a WAY better experience is to be had at BGHS...in all respects.

The only reason we are thinking of temptations is because it's the closest. Bghs is that Bristol gardens? Do you think we should try that one first. Thanks

I'd actually go to Temptations first and then go to BGHS (yes Bristol Gardens in Brighton). That way, Temptations won't be so much of a comedown.

Meant in a relative way, btw. Temptations isn't bad at all in my view, it's just I think BGHS is much better. You just have to follow the rules in BGHS and you'll have a great time. Saturday and Sunday evenings are couples only (from 5.30pm) if you don't want single guys hanging around.

"Dress code naked for daytime, not sure about evenings. Been in the day a few times and won't go back now kestrels is open. " I agree that Kestrels is going to make a huge difference to this place which is a shame.
