Well I don't quite mean Lynx....it always reminds me of sweaty teenagers! I'm wondering what people think of guys wearing aftershave to a club. Is it better to just be squeaky clean and fresh without too strong a fragrance. Or should it be treated like a night out with a good splash of best aftershave!??

Apparently, too much fragrance product on the body makes the chlorine in the jacuzzi work harder and this is what makes people`s eye`s water!

Clean with a bit of deodorant and a slight dab of something nice is all I like to smell. I wear Chanel No.5 and am careful about not overdoing it.

Men’s fragrances tend to be too harsh so if I smell something subtle and gorgeous on a man I’ll be asking what it is, Penhaligons have some amazing smells.

As a man, I hate any aftershave on myself and find very heavy amounts of perfume on women off-putting too.

I find scent/perfume/ after shave etc a real turn off if i am having sex...Its Naturale for me...

Thanks for all the comments so far! As I suspected, in the main it would seem less is more particularly for a club visit. Any fragrance used should be carefully chosen....Lynx probably not giving the preferred effect!!

I don't wear aftershave in a club, just stay showered, clean and fresh. The only reason being I love to relax in the hot tubs, aftershave, deodorants and other body products can react with the the cleaning products in the hot tub and make everyone's eyes stingy. So it's simply clean and fresh for me and never had any complains.

A lot of men dont realise that an aftershave on them will smell totally different to the same on someone else.

Ive smelled some blokes wearing what i know is pricey stuff, and they make it smell like Yardley Gold!

Less is more as well!

And some of the body sprays taste horrid. Puts me off licking, so be careful what you spray where!

It`s why they ask you to shower before you go into the jacuzzi. Not many do!
