Hey guys,

I really want to experience a club so I am thinking of going to one this Saturday, which will be my first time.

Any advice?

Will you be going on your own, or with your partner? It can be much easier if you've got someone you know to hold your hand.

For your first time, you might be more comfortable planning to not play. Just see what the place is like. Talk to people in the bar, spend some time in the hot tub if there is one. Have a wander around and see what people get up to.

As a woman, it's practically certain that men will approach you. It's OK to say no. Clubs are safe places.

Wear something that you're comfortable in, and bring something skimpier to change into later if you feel like. If the club has any particular rules about clothing, they should explain it on their web site.

Read that web site. There's often a section for frequently asked questions.

As it happens, I'll be in Manchester visiting a friend, and we're planning to visit a club on Saturday. If it's the same one as you, we'd be happy to have a chat with you there. We'll be new to that club too. It can be hard when you don't know anyone.

Thanks for replying.

I would be attending on my own as hubby doesn’t come with me, just likes to know about it.

I’m thinking of going to amours as it is the closest one to me.

What one May you be attending ?

Go with no expectations and go to socialise, if you feel comfortable then maybe play.

I am sure you will have a great time, there are lots of clubs your way, have a look at reviews to see what they say about the clubs.

Hope you enjoy your evening xx

I think we're going to Partners (if that's the one in Bury), so it looks like we'll miss you. But I'm sure you'll have a great time. I haven't looked back since I first walked into ClubF about 6 months ago. I love it.

Have a look at club reviews to see which one suits your needs and wants - e.g. if there are any events on that you like the sound of etc.

Tell the staff you haven’t been to a club before and they often will be helpful. Maybe get there at a time when it’s a little more quiet to get used to the club setting, be social if you’re feeling confident enough to do so.

Enjoy
