The comments make me sick, but the article is positive! It seems the journalist was shown while customers were there?

It will be interesting to see what happens as new paper stories about swingers clubs in the past have had a number of different effects.

1. It's killed the m off as people have not wanted to go there

2. It has an influx of people going to just noisy around and what all the strange people then it all dies down again

3. It has had the moral brigade out in force demanding it to be shut down

4. Or it's not really hand any effect and been left alone.

Hopefully it will all just be left alone so we can just enjoy the lifestyle we all lead on here x

Don't see why a club does this, as a swinger you know how to find them. This is just giving the moral numpties info they don't need. It's a club we'll never go hardly elite

Because it's nothing to be ashamed off. And you should try it and make up your own mind. It's a great club and the clientele is very mixed.

Didn't say anything to be ashamed of, we certainly aren't. But the narrow minded don't need info, just fuels their fire. Capable of reading reviews, trying out clubs that haven't splashed over newspapers unnecessarily

I met a lovely couple at another club that had only found out about the club and lifestyle after a club was featured in the paper... so it can help... and can be great for both the clubs and the lifestyle. Tonight I would imagine there will be a few people that have come to be nosey and who knows.

As long as it's done right... a positive report is good for the lifestyle..

Just prefer a Private Club and pick accordingly. Clubs are marmite and lots to choose, everyone finds their favourite as all our needs vary. Unfortunately the majority don't and never will swing so being in press is unnecessary. You only need to know about fab, the swinging world is your oyster

We will have to agree to disagree as I'm one of those open swingers that has often converted a vanilla to the lifestyle. So for me I welcome this type of exposure and look forward to embracing the curious newbies

"The comments make me sick, but the article is positive! It seems the journalist was shown while customers were there? "

It doesn't matter what club it is or whether it's a local rag or a national newspaper. The comments are always the same! The political slant of the paper is irrelevant as well.

Having said that, I saw an article about one in Barcelona a few weeks ago and they were more interested in the fact that Ousmane Dembele lived down the road from it and had been seen in the local McDonald's after training.

The UK has a lot of work to do, still a bit victorian, aren't we?

We went once and won’t be returning. We didn’t find it very secure, as in we didn’t have to register as a member, our names weren’t taken when we went in, we weren’t shown around and we didn’t see a single member of staff walking around! There were other reasons too. Weren’t not first timers, we’re regulars at another club but thought we’d give this one a go, definitely not our cup of tea I’m afraid

Fully agree with the above, the club has so much potential but ran so badly.

Now needing to go out to the local and even national press just shows that they are so desperate for custom that they are willing to risk upsetting their regulars for a short term bump in sales.

It's the only club I have not felt safe in, d*unk groups of people, paint peeling off, filthy floors (I was bare foot most of the night and my feet were disgusting)

It seems by this act of silly publicity seeking that many customers feel the same.

Also, surely a two way mirror is just a window.

These articals come up all the time. It must have been a no news day in Derby. There are countless possitive reveiws on here on Fabs own club reveiws. You can't please all the people all the time.

We make the 3.5 hour and stay over night to visit this fab club. It also depends on your own expectaions and those who are also attending.

We feel this club covers all kinks. Locked room, unlocked, dark / light and theamed areas. Something for everyone. Ron and crew are very approchable. Always developing the club.

We love this place and will continue to support and visit whenever we can.

I don't know how you can say the club is dirty.. it's also one of the least clicky clubs and one for the friendliest imho

Every newbie gets a tour and the staff are everywhere.. it's one of the few clubs I've not had to much hassle off single guys at.. and when I have it's been dealt with quickly.

There's cleaning stuff in every room.. I go as a single female and enjoy it for the fact I feel safe and well looked after.

Dont know how u can say these things I work behind the bar and theres plenty of security and other members of staff .when u first walk in and pay u are offered a tour of the place and the place isn't filthy and another fact we're not struggling for customers and u saying its clicky is far from clicky maybe u shld of made the effort to chat to members instead of looking down ur noses at them and finding fault in the club x

Excuse me!!! I have a right to voice my opinion the same as everyone else!

We were not offered a look around, neither did we see any staff walking around. We did try talking to others but no one wanted to chat, they were too busy chatting to their regular friends! And yes the place IS dirty!!!!

We regularly attend clubf and have done for a couple of years and security, cleanliness and friendliness is second to none. Maybe if you tried it, you’d see the difference

I'd beg to differ with you and say it is safe and welcoming. On the Saturday nights I've been I've seen plenty of visable security on.

There are several members of staff about all with 'staff' printed in huge letters on their tops, carrying radios and with ear pieces so they're constantly able to communicate with each other. Staff behind the bar also monitor the cameras and have earpieces and radios too.

The place is friendly and clean but as with all clubs you have to make the effort to chat to others. If you just sit there and don't make an effort you will find it cliquey.

The Attic is an excellent club and certainly doesn't deserve the slating it is getting. The owners work damn hard to make it the success that it is and are constantly making improvements as and when needed.

Those of you that haven't been, please make your own opinions by trying the club yourselves. There will always be mixed reviews of any club!

The place is never dirty. Sorry but that much is a bare faced lie. As to the rest.. I've never seen anyone not get a tour... and the staff at the minimum will tall to newbies.

I don't just go to the attic.. and I've been frequenting clubs for over 18 years...and the attic is one of the most well staffed clubs I've been too. In fact only 2 weeks ago I actually saw a critism that the staff are too visible and too many.

I've taken many a newbie to the club and fairly often it's single females who echo my feeling of being safe and well looked after.

Even on the busiest of nights I've never ever seen the staff not offer a tour to newbies and the regulars welcome newbies with open arms... ( as my veries from numerous newbies show)

Its one of the few clubs that has a host of clean up products in every room... it's regularly being updated and beds are replaced if damaged. Carpets have all recently been replaced down stairs and upstairs is all fairly new too. The staff are hot on cleaning up..

Am I biased as I am a regular... no... when and if something has happened or not even right... I have been first to tell them..
