Event or club recommendations in London

My new FB wants to take me out to a club or an event in London on Saturday 4th May. Totally out of my area and I have no clue - he's new to the scene, so doesn't know either.

Would love recommendations...

If the new Kestrels/ Ab fab location is open by then, that is one option, apart from that you have le Boudoir in Aldgate or OurPlace4Fun in Alexandra Palace. Going slightly further afield towards Kent there is Eurika or North you have Jaydees and the Vanilla Alternative.

There maybe more venues that I am not aware of maybe somebody else can help.

There are surprisingly few places to go in London - I don't understand why, since we're spoiled for choice up here in the North-West. By far the best place I've ever been to in London is OurPlace4fun - small, intimate and very friendly.
