"Hmmm not sure considering the have just put an article in the Daily Mail!!! ?? "

News to us??

We do not speak to the papers or put articles in the papers EVER!!

Quote ' EVER '

If anything is in any paper it's not been put there by us but others making cheap news or trying to smear our club!!

I have messaged you (the club) directly and attached a picture of the article - unfortunately I can’t seem to be able to attach a picture to this forum?!? - which I would appreciate you validating as a true statement Paul - if we are talking about reputation mine is just as important as yours and I am not a liar.

If this article has been done maliciously by another club it is certainly right, but then maybe some review needs to take place regarding your camera/phone policy as the article contains a picture of your dungeon room!

I would like to say that I have throughly enjoyed your club and have found it to be an enjoyable place, but as with most people privacy is paramount and if someone can take pictures of the rooms, they can take pictures of us.

The ONE picture the Mail are using was taken by US at Club Sx and been on our website as the Kink Room NOT the dungeon for over 6 months!! (To show what the kink room looks like) The picture is also copyrighted by us at Club Sx and is in the corner of the picture in the mail.

WE HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO THE MAIL OR ANY PAPER OR GIVEN PERMISSION TO USE OUR PICTURES FROM OUR WEBSITE!!

The articles is utter rubbish and doesn't even have the correct date of the event, they have the 25th & our event is the 26th

The so called quotes are ALL taken from the FAB forum listing for the event when we posted on it on FAB club events. If you look they copied the advert text from there.

The so called single guy who commented does not exist as theres NOT one single male on the guest yet, just couples & 2 single females. This is why we have guest list so we know who's in our club.

SO A PAPER COPIES OUR EVENT ADVERT TEXT ON FAB, COPIES A PICTURE OF OURS WEBSITE AND WE ARE HELB RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS??

We have guest lists for every event we hold and know everyone that enters our doors and when so...

NO journalist or photographers have been into or at our club period EVER!!

Paul

Thank you for validating that I am not lying about the article- though you don’t actually say it.

It is unfortunate that either another club as you first stated or a journalist has done this - as I said in my initial comment in the forum ‘they have put an article in the Daily Mail’.

Not sure why you feel the need to send such forceful messages both in here but to me privately (even though I blocked your club) when it appears I have simply pointed something out to you - note I am not a journalist or club owner.

I feel that I was quite reasonable and complimentary about your club both in my comments on here and when I messaged you back privately wishing you all the best. However, I have to say that the approach back has not been the same.

Whilst I can appreciate your frustration and anger that your business has been singled out by the general public, I am not sure I warrant it being levelled at me.

Again I wish you all the best with your club (as I did have a lovely time when I went and it is a nice venue) I will choose to be cautious as my privacy around this aspect of my life is paramount to me.

There’s also a similar article on The Sun Online wedsite entitled OCH AYE THE NUDE about the Robbie Burns night.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/8204328/sex-club-burns-night-kilts-whisky-haggis-orgy/

The Headline made me smile.

I have read the article and to me nothing in the artical information wise can not be found on the website.

Having met the owners of the club and attended events they ran in advance the idea that they would jeopardize what they are trying to build is ridiculous.

They are great advocates for the swinging scene and their events are top notch.

As they say.... All publicity is good publicity!

Btw anybody with a brain doesn't give a damn about the 'rags'..

The Mail isn't even a decent paper anyway!

As for debates Lou and Paul - the advice from me is to find someone else to debate or negotiate on your behalf. This is the second thread I've seen you both/either 'snap' about your business!

I blocked you after the first!

All the best!

Read my initial message. I never said it was them - I said they (meaning journalists) have put an article in the Daily Mail!!! In face of you read my messages you will see that twice I have stated it is a great club!

"Hmmm not sure considering they have just put an article in the Daily Mail!!! ?? "

I would say the first post read like you were trying to lay blame at their feet.

"They have just put an article in the daily mail" can been seen as you accusing the owners.

So reread what you put before trying to pull me up.

In addition if you read my post I did not qoute you at all. I was saying the idea that they would do it themselves is ridiculous

It is. In fairness neither article is sensationalising it. Just people have sex in clubs ....in other news snow is on its way.

Not the way it was meant to come across and neither of my posts do I feel deserve the response I got. I pretty much think I was polite - the response not so much.

It still doesn't constitute A SHOUTY POST!

You are given a time out in a chatroom for that!

There is no rule about caps on the forum, only in chat

If a business wants to answer in this way then I assume they don't mind the impression they are giving

People are defensive over things they care about and Lou and Paul have worked tirelessly on the club - as you said yourself it's a great place.

Knowing them as I do I can assure you there was no nastiness in what was said, they just want people to understand this is not their doing (you did sound accusing as others have said) - but both these facts in mind, things don't always come across in the way we intend in the written word.

If only we could have voice intonation on here! Emojis help and the wink after Paul's name tells you he wasn't being horrible in any way, shape or form x

You want to send the mail an invoice for use of your photo as they have stolen it for use. There's too much of this going on with news papers thinking that they can just take liberties. Sorry if slightly off topic.

Just to jump on this from a staff point of view,

YES I WORK FOR THE CLUB!

Written in caps so people understand my bias, not to shout about it.

Imagine someone has been on your Facebook page, copied a photo, and published it in two national papers saying "you'll never guess what this kinky couple do here"

You'd get pretty mad about, you'd get very defensive about it and you sure as hell wouldn't of done it yourself.

Now look back at the clubs response, exactly the same is it!

I know Paul and Lou have had offers to do filming / documentaries etc before which could potentially add a great deal of revenue to a new club. Every one of them has been declined as we all see the privacy of guest, staff and indeed the owners themselves as absolutely paramount.

Paul and Lou have invested everything into this business and would do nothing to jeopardise it. They genuinely care about their staff and guests.

I have been through the hardest of times since I started working for the club, losing family, losing a child, struggling with transition. It is only through their support and that of the friends I made at the club that I am both here and have the strength to even type that.

See the article anyway you wish, make your own interpretation, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but remember that is EVERYONE, including ourselves and do at least try to see things from the clubs perspective
