FabSwingers.com forum: New to clubs, what to expect?

Im looking at attending a club night or social for couples and single women only with my other half, but what can i expect? Will i have propositions constantly from the men? Will i be expected to play? Is it ok if we just play infront of people rather than with people?

And also how social can they be? Or is it mainly going to play?

Also any bad experiences?

Sorry if I'm rambling, im excited and nervous!

You may get chatted to and hopefully people would be chatty and friendly. Yes people do ask if you fancy some fun... but they won't mind if you say no thanks.

Your never expected to play. I often go to a club with friends and we just chill and when I was with my ex.. we used to often go.. watch others and then go have fun ourselves.

Best things about clubs I find is no pressure.. can do as little or as much as I like x

Phew, any you'd recommend with a more female positive atmosphere?

Ive read everywhere that clubs are usually friendly and non pushy places but i still get nerves with it all!

In any club it's down to the people who are there on the night.

We've had many a good night in a crappy club and plenty of crap nights in great clubs.

You can be as adventurous, or not, as you want.

Sit in the bar or lounge area and you will almost certainly get chatted to. If you want to go further then you can go for it, if not then not.

Although unlikely, if someone does get pushy then a quick word with the staff will solve it. However, to repeat, it would be unlikely.

On the other side of the coin, if you lie naked with your legs apart in an open playroom then expect company.

Bottom line is just go with an open mind and do only what you feel comfortable with. No-one will try to force you to do more.

That is our experience of over 50 clubs in 5 countries.

For us a couples night in a club was our first introduction to the world and honestly, it’s a great way to dip your toes in. People may say hello. But we didn’t really get propositioned until we were already in a playroom ourselves. You can also say no & people back off. Our experience is essentially one of a friendly pub night where you get undressed and can get a little frisky with the OH is public. If you’re ready, you can join others, but on our first night we were more playing alongside without actively participating. It was more of a reconnaissance mission, iygwim!

So basically no need to be worried. You will be treated respectfully and in a way sex is just a side note to the socialising that goes on.

You will naturally be a little anxious/nervous, everybody is on their first time.

Take a deep breath and go through those doors, you only do what YOU want to do have a look round and go home if you want but I doubt you will want to - it's fun! Where are you thinking of going first?

It is a smaller club, but there are areas you can go and lock a door. Everyone from the staff to the other people who attend are very friendly. There are strict rules about the white line and no one can join in unless you say they can.

We were very nervous on our first visit, but within minutes of walking in we felt very relaxed.

In a club you do exactly what you want to do not what others want you to do, if you get bothered by the wanking zombies tell them where to go! Clubs are great in general

If you're generally looking for ladies, I'd recommend looking for couples/single ladies nights for your first visit. The absence of a large number of single guys will make your first visit more relaxed.

Also I'd suggest you don't wait for people to come to chat to you, just go and introduce yourself to people and choose who YOU want to talk to.

Ultimately though, just have fun.
