Is anyone else having issues with applying for club memberships?

All depends what club/clubs you are trying to apply for a membership at. Some more 'upmarket' clubs have rules regarding age/size/looks, and anyone who does not fit what they want gets rejected.

There are plenty of clubs where everyone is welcome. And it doesn't mean they are any less fun than the 'posh' places.

Depends which Clubs.

Some will let any of the Great Unwashed through the door just to make cash.

However, these places are normally places where some Single Males become a real pest.

It’s a numbers game. We like to meet decent clean guys so for us, vetting is a good idea.

Suppose if you are a Single Guy reading this you may think differently xxxxx

La Chambre at Sheffield is one of these, they have a list of rules but I've yet to see the staff actually enforce them! There are always men in tshirts, scruffy jeans and trainers, and people sitting around on their phones. Looking at the decor of the place I don't think they're in a position to turn people away

. I applied for membership at London club early December and I received a email back saying they were over subscribed in my category ( Single Male ) which I guess does happen so I guess I have to stick with the one I am a member at which is great fun.It would have been nice to have been a member of both to have a choice but I guess that how it goes.
