Do some research before you go. On the club page on fab there are reviews from customers and links to the club websites. Have a good mooch around the websites. Some clubs have special membership requirements for single men and some even have a waiting list for membership. There will also be information about the dress code etc.

When you arrive make sure you ask for a tour of the club. Someone will show you around, explain the rules and etiquette and hopefully introduce you to a few people.

Be friendly and chatty with people. When attending clubs it's no good sitting in a corner nursing a drink or following people around without speaking to anyone - you won't get anywhere and are likely to have a bit of a crap night. If you have good social skills in a "normal" non-sexual environment then you should be fine at a club.

Expect to be nervous - we all are on our first club visit. Most people will have a drink or two to settle the nerves but don't overdo it. Pissed isn't sexy!

Go to the club with no expectations of anything other than having a sociable time. If you get to play then great and if not hopefully you will meet and chat to some lovely people.

Ooh I forgot to say:

Have a look on the club events page on the forums. Many events do not require you to be a member of the club - you just ask to be added to the guest list. Some clubs hold special events for newbies to the club scene.
