Middlesbrough

Been toying with how to put this into words so there's no backlash. But ultimately there will be so it's just gonna have to be said.

Since the opening of a brand new club some 5 or so miles north of Club f it seems that the negatives have been building up about the care, quality and safety of club f members and attitude of staff.

Now the opening of Newcastles club bears no disrespect and the work that's gone into it in its few weeks have been nothing short of perfect. As with all clubs not everyone will see it in a positive way but that said, the attraction is building and the crowds are increasing.

So well done and hopefully the success will continue..... HOWEVER. And again, this bears no reflection on the club (or any club) directly it seems people are now bringing club f down with negative feedback, comments and attitude to it's maintainance and running.

As a member of club f this will undoubtedly come across as biased and will further undoubtedly be met with "if you haven't visited other clubs"....... Response.

But from the few years of visits there have been constant improvements, maintainance and additions, not because they NEEDED to be done but because the staff WANTED them to be done.

The management team and staff work unbelievably hard constantly to provide a safe, clean, relaxed and hygienic environment and are ever constantly putting new ideas in place to keep the place modern and stylish.

Let's not forget, our community's gathering places aren't exactly government funded so additional costs need to be thought through carefully before they are put into place.

Licenced bar....additional cost

Licence to show porn....additional cost.

Free condoms....additional cost (as small as it may be)

Separate changing rooms....building work needed incurring additional cost.

All of these things and more would ultimately incur extra cost on an already stretched budget for a club that the general public would love to see shut down in a second.

So please stop with the recent negatives for a club thats been so popular and well maintained and has successfully reached its current venues 10 year anniversary achieved only by the dedicated hard work of the management and staff that put in the time and commitment so we have a place to visit without being judged or criticised.

Thank you for this post, I wasnt aware we were being criticised for out maintenance and how I run my club, but hey ho, it doesnt surprise me.

We have had some maintenance problems with a flood on the night of the big storm and are working to rectify and incidentally never shut even though it would have been easier to.

We do what we say we are going to do. We open consistently and you know exactly where you stand. We lead the way and others try and copy us.

I dont really like defending the club or myself as if you have been around a while you all know what a place it is and what I am like and my staff are absolutely exemplary and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your night if at all possible.

If people are bad mouthing us (and I take it very personally) then you should wonder why are they doing that?

We haven't built up steadily over 10 years because we are a crap club, we are now a

Premier club in the country and only arent higher because many people think the north stops at the watford gap or manchester.

You have to ask yourselves if they are doing that then why??

It's hard not to take negativity personally when people are attacking your baby, especially when it's unwarranted.

If underhand tactics are in play by rivals, then shame on you and/or your customers. There's no need for it, especially when there are so few clubs in that area.

We have the largest concentration of clubs in the northwest and at times, the rivalry has been cut throat as we all want our babies to survive....that's just business. But there's just no need for it in the North East.

Sue, you run a fantastic venue, which is safe, legal and long established. Just carry on being the best that you are and don't stoop to the levels of others. This integrity will see you through and your loyal customers will have your back as will we.

Much love and ride the storm with your head held high.

Clubf is 1st class,

The staff ( including me ) are 1st class,

But

It doesn't matter where u go if it's a club a restaurant a pub or even the shops, there will always be someone or something u don't like and swingers clubs are no different and as the saying goes u can't please all of the people all of the time.

But 1 thing I do know and that we all do our utmost best to provide a good clean safe place for people to play and socialise and I'm sure shhh does the same.

I am proud to work at clubf and I'm sure there is enough people to go around for both clubs.

Some like clubf for 1 thing and they like shhh for another and it's good that the 2 clubs arnt the same as it would be boring if all clubs were the same.

Be thankful we all provide such good places for u all rather than just slagg off.

I hear people say it's easy running a club but I can tell u it's not easy and it's bloody hard work and it takes someone with honesty and determination to run a club like ours and club shhh so unless u have something positive to say about either clubs I suggest u look around at what each club has to offer and the different personalities of both staff and give credit were it's due.

Be grateful B kind and B safe
