Hi, Why are some clubs 21+ and some 18+?

Is this a legal thing or just choice by management.

What ID should one take to a club for age verification?

Sperry for all the questions

Depends on the club. Some say on their website about what ID you need. Some don't need any ID from couples.

As for age, I don't know. Maybe just their preference.

I think it’s probably by choice with the management.

I’ve never been to a club but I’d assume a provisional/driving license is good enough, or if you don’t have those a valid passport.

Just like you’d use to get in a nightclub. X

Thanks both, appreciate the help

We are probably going to head to London or Bristol area for our first club so will call ahead as suggested.

Also off to Amsterdam for new years eve so hoping to find something there too

Check ahead with the club for ID - you don’t want to get turned away for insufficient ID!!

Driving licence should be fine in most clubs, but, certainly at at Townhouse, a passport needs a utility bill or bank statement with it as a second form of ID.

Swingers clubs are mostly private members clubs & they have regulations relating to the licensing & operating of a private members club they need to stick to. ID in a Swingers club isn’t just about proving your age like in a nightclub; it’s about proving who you are

Clubs rely on their operating licences; having a valid members & guests list is a part of the licence, so it’s not worth their while letting you innwithout correct ID!

Hope that helps!

Birkenhead/Liverpool

The age restriction is sometimes governed by the local council who issues their licence, but sometimes it's down to the club owners to set the limit.
