Over the roundabout and then turn right.

We often see organised events at swingers clubs being advertised and people putting their names down.

We have also turned up at clubs (of which we are members) without realising it is an event night and had no problem getting in.

Please excuse the ignorance, but why the need to pre-apply for entry?

They probably won't turn you away, especially if you are a member. They want people in the Club. Unless there is a specific reason, maybe a private party or limited space.

Usually because they need to know numbers for catering, drinks, space etc I would think.

Many club events are open to non members providing they are on the guest list. It is a good opportunity for people to try a new club without the need to pay out for membership which can be quite expensive. If the club isn't to your taste you haven't wasted money on a membership you won't use again.

Full members of clubs are not usually denied entry on these events unless the club is full to capacity and they can't let any more in for safety reasons.

Birkenhead/Liverpool

We take a guestlist for some of our events to manage the logistics; staff, stock, change etc... Some events are more popular than others and are strictly guestlist as if we just opened our doors, we would be up to capacity and would have to turn people away. A guestlist helps us manage numbers so people aren't disappointed.
