One Saturday I was watching some group fun in a club and I must say condoms were just chucked on the side and a couple in my general direction. Now I am happy that everyone was playing safe (my pref) but the lads could have put the condoms to one side , rather than just chuck them in the general direction of me. I was just further up from the bin

I think condom and used condon etiquette is important. I try to at least wrap mine in paper or if not a wet wipe or even wrap it in opened packet and put it in the side when playing then straight in the bin. Other patrons and staff don’t like clearing sued condoms - not classy

Couldn't agree more, it shows a lack of respect for the staff and other people.

It takes seconds to wrap up your used condom and put it in a bin

This reminds me of when I was playing with my then partner in the round room at chams. A rather rude person kept trying to play with me after I said no so my guy stopped what he was doing to escorts the man from the room. As he did so he stepped on a discarded, used condom..... Somewhat killed the mood.

Same here, I had to clear up after the end of the night, found them everywhere..had to check down the sides of the beds, under beds, all the nooks and crannies. It's disgusting when there is always a bin close by. Total lack of respect. Never went far without my latex gloves !

I trod on a used condom in the jaccuzzi at Chams one night!

Really pisses me off that it`s not only condoms, but drink cans, bottles, cups and the like that people are just far too bloody lazy to either take them back to the bar or put them in a bin as appropriate!

My pet hate. I actually witnessed a guy throwing a condom on the floor when I was working and he didn't know I was watching. I picked it up in plenty of tissue and took it downstairs. When he was booking out, I told him that he had lost something upstairs and handed the tissue to him. Bewildered, he opened it up to find his used, full condom. He dropped it on the counter with a URGH!!!! I said, 'not nice is it mate? I'm not here to pick up your condoms, but as I did, you can take that with you.' I got a load of abuse.... I then said, 'so you lack respect for me and my property? Don't come back.' He tried to back track but he'd already revealed his true colours. Adios!!!

It happens A LOT! But if I catch people doing it, they don't get away with it. I enjoy finding ways of handing them back to their owner...I'm creative like that.

It should be made a membership cancellation policy if used condoms aren't put inside appropriate disposal vessels. It's a high infection risk as well as being absolutely revolting.

Perhaps groups in rooms should hold accountability for all people there, pressuring others and reporting to management.

Certainly there needs to be a marked change in behavior from this all too common practice. Clubs could take a stand and implement new rules but it's not their fault that people behave so appallingly - I'm guessing they'd prefer not to ever admit such pigs (sorry pigs)

I once when working at a club told a guy if he didn't pick up the condom he had just thrown on the floor he would be wearing it.

He laughed... called me a few things. And then found it didn't match the rest of his clothing.

It's when people do it at a private house party! Would you want that in your own home?! And then you accidentally find one while in your PJs/barefoot the next morning.
