We have been trying to get into the swinging scene for a while now, but amongst the fake profiles and people who constantly let you down we’ve only had 5 meets in 4 years.

We both like the idea of clubs but also very nervous as were used to the comfort of our own home.

What are your experiences of your first club meet?

Anything to look out for or any advice is appreciated

Go on a bi night, Chameleons in Midlands do a Monday but others do them look on club info

It doesn’t have to be a bi night, we’re both looking to explore with the same sex but it’s not all we’re looking for.

We’d be looking to go a club in either Manchester or Liverpool

Cupids do a couples and single girls night on a Wednesday.

Perfect for newbies, it's chilled out and easier going than many club nights.

Townhouse is Birkenhead nearest to Liverpool they do a newbie night.

2+2 cap d arge we were spoilt great club. Tried a few clubs some are good for us but mostly its a personal choice thing. We liked couples and single ladies nights to start with and still do to be honest, need a big fly swotter to go on single guy nights lol

First thing I would say is to decide on what type of club you want ? A wet or dry club ? Dry clubs tend to have stricter dress codes and more of a fun night club feel.... most wet clubs offer the same as a dry club but men tend to just wear a towel and you have the added bonus of spa facilities. Each type of club have their own fans who will say their favourite club is the best. I would say read the reviews in the club section and make a judgement from them. Then go and have fun !

Stoke area

Atlantis in Stoke have a variety of special nights coming up. It's nightclub style, so you don't have to strip off on arrival.

There is a big party night this evening. Next Friday is another party for one of the regulars with a mods and rickets theme Friday, and a normal club night Saturday. The weekend after it's festival fever with bunting and buffet and tents as well as the normal open and play areas, dance floor etc.

It's my favourite club, take your own alcohol and very well run. People always say how friendly it is and it's not pushy or awkward for anyone.

Check the reviews . But I recommend it to newbies as it has such a lovely atmosphere and is a gentle introduction to clubs.

Townhouse is Birkenhead nearest to Liverpool they do a newbie night."

The next Newbies night at Townhouse is Saturday 18th August. All Saturday events are predominantly couples & single females with a limit of 8 single male members.

But newbies are welcome on any night - doesn’t have to be that one specifically!!
