What should one wear when it’s dress down time in a club apart from the obligatory underwear? Can you wear anything else?

Anytime I have went to a club generally the guys walk around with a towel on.. That's all I ever wore and well flip flops ...

I now take my own towel to clubs,anything but white.too often in the past I have hung up my clean dry white towel before getting into the hot tub,only to find on getting out that some bugger has taken my dry towel and left their wet towel in its place.
