OP you couldn't be further from the truth.

Most swingers clubs restrict the numbers of single men allowed to prevent them becoming like a cattle market. There are usually a good mix of couples and singles. Some people choose to just watch and some play but there is never any expectations or pressure to do so. People mingle and chat, have a dance and generally enjoy themselves.

I would say if you went to any city centre bar or nightclub on a Saturday night then it is more of a cattle market.

If the clubs you are visiting have this kind of feel then I would suggest trying somewhere else instead.

Wife backed away from scene.not enjoying some things she has seen in clubs,and even couples wandering round looking for something to watch.guy's past there best trying to feel her up didn't help.advice to older guys,think before you do anything.

Honest opinion....it very much depends on the club. We have been to clubs where I very much felt like a commodity where I was fair game to the highest bidder, so the a cattle market. BUT nowadays I'd say that most clubs are so far removed from this now and have upped their game. An odd cattle market still exists but most people know where they are and swerve!! Lol

Don't know what your experiences are but absolutely not for us.

But I do think all of us are past our best to somebody, so that isn't an insult I'd throw about too much. If they continued beyond a polite no thanks then that is wrong, if they are a bit older than you I'm afraid there isn't an age limit, what side of it what we all be?

An insult wasn't thrown.I accept we all change,even I wish I was 20 years younger,but wife got uncomfortable with guys eying her up like the next meal to devour.her body language made it quite clear she was not interested.we have had some good club experiences,and some awful ones.Maybe we just got unlucky.our verifications I feel back us up as being ok to get on with.club dynamics vary from one time to another as well.

What would you like them to do? Maybe it’s just the clubs and events I’ve been to but I’ve always seen single guys particularly welcomed and introduced to some of the ‘regular’ attendees. Personally I always try to talk to the single guys, and my friends do too, especially those guys who are attending for the first time. Unfortunately some single guys seem to expect a shag just for walking through the door, or will sit in a corner and expect someone to fall in their lap, and if that’s the case then I think it’s unfair to blame their crap night on the club.

It’s a pity I’ve never been in a club when you or your friends have been in, but then, I’m the master of choosing the quiet nights. None of the clubs I’ve been to have ever done anything more than give me a tour around the place, then point me in the direction of the bar. I’ve never blamed a disappointing evening on a club itself, it is, after all, only bricks, mortar, fixtures and fittings. It’s down to the people there at the same time as you, that dictates how the night will go
