near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

As always, the question has to asked what style of club do you like or would like to visit? From the way you talk, the night club style of club would suit you better. Yes, there are some great clubs here in the UK, mainly in the Midlands and North West, but equally there`s some poor ones too.

Thanks. Yeah I think a night club style but the ones I've looked at appear to be modified houses and look dated. Might be wrong but just my impression x

I have looked at the photos and read reviews and yes they look tacky. I am asking the question to people who have visited clubs - is that OK with you? I thought that was the point of a forum about clubs! Jeeze

Vanilla Alternative or Liberty Elite might meet your requirements.

Stoke area

I have been to 6 UK club's and they do vary. Only one would I describe as tired and tacky. Some are exceptional.

All have been clean, hygienic and great friendly places.

Mingles in Colchester is very modern and sleek. Atlantis in Stoke is a superb nightclub style club and my personal favourite.

But you need to go along to a club or three to find out what they are really like.

Leeds

Quest in Leeds is purpose built and not tacky at all. For real style and class try Fata Morgana in The Netherlands.

Vanilla Alternative is far from tacky. Lovely place, well decorated to a high standard, clean and staff are fantastic. As is everyone we have had the pleasure of meeting there. It was the first club we ever went to and honestly don’t think we could of picked a better place to start with.
