The playgrounds are doing a fancy dress themed night at the end of this month. Have people been to these type of nights and does everyone dress up?

I haven't been to dress up nights at the Playgrounds. When my local club in Stoke have dress up nights, they are optional. I would say 60 to 70% of the people do dress up.

Maybe phone or email the club to ask what the norm is?

We've been to a few theme nights at clubs and there are always people there who are not in fancy dress or following the theme.

Having been to Playgrounds themed parties before, I would say 80% follow the theme and they actively encourage Fancy Dress

I have been to lots of themed nights at various clubs and I would say 70% come in fancy dress. Dressing differently will be fine but I have seen single males at a fetish night in not even black and they definitely stood out!

My partner and I go to clubs most weekends, and dress up every time. Not necessarily in fancy dress, but in sexy clothing or lingerie. After all, these are adult clubs, and wearing something different can help to break the ice, if you are shy, you can compliment someone on their attire, for instance. This can dispel the myth that clubs are ‘clicky’, as most of the time, this is due to people not communicating, then going home miserable, because they have had no fun.

Be outrageous, and let yourself go.

Depends on the particular theme. As people have already commented the parcipitation rates are quite high. Some themes are not so conducive to swinging and sexiness though. We attended a Halloween one and whilst the costumes and masks were spectacular and scary there was nothing attractive or sexy to help the mood.

Manc Bi parties always have a theme, some dress to it others not so... it’s a great laugh, it’s also difficult to Pan Am hostess it without the excuse of an event so I’m a thumbs up!

Different club, but we went to a night at ourplace4fun a few years ago. Optional fancy dress. There was a couple where the woman was dressed as a sexy elf. She lay down on the bed and let (loads of) guys cum on her face. She kept her elf cap on all the time. It just seemed wrong!
