Guys this is NOT a request for people to go on the attack of fat girls.

As you can see from my pics I'm a fat girl and currently lack the confidence to go to a club which I would love to try (Jaydees probably) and I wondered how larger ladies are viewed in a club setting?

I know of one large lady on here who goes regularly but she goes with her husband so she has "back up"

I don't struggle to socialise but feel that I would have an open vulnerability on my own at a club.

And yes I know fat women "don't deserve sex" , and they "don't deserve attention" and "shouldn't be seen in public" (

) so you can forget about posting anything like that thank you

This is a genuine request for feedback and I would appreciate any constructive feedback.

I don’t know how I’m ‘viewed’ but I have no issues rocking up to a club on my own and changing into my skimpies. Confidence is all you require.

In my experience everyone is too busy focusing on their own enjoyment to cast dirty looks at the fat bird.

When i have been, ist actually been the larger ladies who have had the majority of the attention, whether that be for good or bad reasons im unsure, but i dont think you should let someone elses opinion ruin your night

Go Jaydees it’s not my idea of a club night as I look for different things. However all I have heard regarding this club is how welcoming and friendly it is. I’m sure if you post a meet up someone will happily meet you at the club without agenda and show you the ropes.

Find something that makes you feel comfortable and sexy so you don’t feel awkward and go for it.

Loves clubs. You won’t regret it.

Hey Jaydees is great and the event on the 9th Greedy Girls inc. BBW is a daytime and evening event and there are a number of single girls that go who have been voluptuously blessed

If you look at the forum post for it in the swinging club section you’ll see some of the girls mentioned who go frequently and could tell you how they feel. Hope that helps but shout if you want to chat or a friendly face to say hi to if you decide to go. Em x

I’m a dress size 22. I fill a parking space. However I don’t let it define me nor hold me back. Whatever you decide will be the best decision for you but I will reinforce that clubs aren’t scary. Well maybe for the first 5 minutes.

In my experience, larger ladies are treated no differently to anyone else. We've always found swingers' clubs to be the least judgemental of places, it's certainly not like going to a normal nightclub where you might experience a negative attitude from some people.

Going to a club for the first time can be nerve wracking for anyone. My advice would be to contact the club, explain it's your first time and ask if there will be someone to show you around.

You will totally love it here and you wont look out of place especially on the Friday events. Our club is a great new way to make friends and give you lots of confidence.

We also have huge Jacuzzi seating 35 to 40 people, a great place to chat. Plus the disco and bar etc. etc.

Don't be so negative about yourself

There are many bbw events at various clubs,which are best for you to try first,whilst getting your confidence,once feel more confident your probably go to other events,which all sizes go and your see that your accepted just as much as anyone else

I have been going to clubs for years on my own,I went to Jaydee's bbw once and felt very welcome as a lone female,soon got chatting to lots of people

I haven't been to Jaydees so my comments are purely based on my own experiences at clubs when I'm there without my partner (most of the time as we live far apart).

Some nights I have been to a club and been the largest one there. Other nights I'm of average size and there are women much larger than me. It has always been my confidence in approaching people and reading signals that they are interested or not that is the crux for me. If I'm not feeling confident, I don't talk to as many people and get little interest.

Messaging a few people who are going or posting on the event night I'm going to often helps as I can say I'm feeling nervous or message people I'd like to talk to talk. Some will talk back, some won't.

Clothing-wise, I used to take 2 outfits, one that was comfortable but sexy and one that was a little more risque so I could go with how I felt after being at the club a while.

There will be some people who won't be interested and it is hard to let go of your own insecurities (I still haven't managed it) but there are genuinely a mix of shapes and sizes at the clubs I go to. I also pick my nights carefully and quite like the BBW/Buxom Babes type nights just so I feel more comfortable.

OP I'm a larger lady and I absolutely love going to clubs.

I have never felt uncomfortable in any way and never felt as though people were looking at me as though i shouldn't be there.

I usually go alone but do sometimes visit with my FB who I met at a club 18 months ago.

You get people of all ages, shapes and sizes at clubs. There are some clubs/party organisers who only want slim, young guests to attend (killing kittens is one) but there are far more that are inclusive for everyone.

It may make you feel more comfortable to attend a bbw/curvy event for your first visit. I've been to the one at cupids and loved it. Chams bbw event comes highly recommended too although I haven't been - yet

I've been going to clubs on my own for at least 4 years now. I've not been to Jaydees but have friends that go and enjoy it, so can't comment on that club. I've never had any problems and always found people to be friendly and welcoming. I normally stick around the bar area at first and chat with the staff. I feel comfortable and go to all types of nights. I love it, give it a try! X

It's scary going to a club for the first time but it's worth taking that leap. I've been to clubs at a size 24 and a size 16 and I've had just as much attention and just as much fun.

I think I possibly had more when I was bigger!

I've been quite often on my own and never had a problem. I was actually very impressed with ladies larger than me at a BBW event who really did dress to impress and they looked amazing.

Guys were very respectful and took no for an answer but remained at the table to socialise.

Oh my God! OP Please please please go to a club ASAP!! I can't wait for you to realise there was no need for the apprehensions - as understandable as they are. I think a lot of people as they're approaching a club and even for the first few minutes have their own insecurities floating around their heads but usually in those environments everybody is on the same wavelength and I doubt there'd be any harsh words or looks thrown at you. It personally wouldn't cross my mind - I'd probably even approach you. You're beautiful, have fun! Xx

I've had issues in clubs due to my size and having to use a walking stick. Thing is,no one will confront me fave to face, but I just laugh....even stripped totally naked just to disgust them even more

In my experience the type f people that go to swingers clubs tend to me very friendly and non judgemental. I certainy have never had any issues or uncomfortable moments and ive been to clubs when i was a size 26/28.

Genuine swingers/lifestylers will see past size/shape/colour/ability.

I echo this totally!! I feel more confident in a club in my lingerie than I do in most places & im a size 20/22. Events for bigger girls are great fun - I host one myself - but equally the more general nights are fantastic too & I've never been made to feel unattractive of self conscious about my appearance. If anything, it’s quite the opposite!!

Give it a try OP - I’ve never visited Jaydees, but it sounds like you’ve got a warm welcome waiting for you!!

Larger ladies are loved and adored at clubs, especially on nights like Jaydess GG/BBW.

If nervous find someone else going and arrange to meet them there for a chat and see how it goes.

The staff at Jaydees are also amazing at looking after you, and showing you around.

We have been to 40 odd clubs in 5 countries and never once have we seen larger ladies looked down on.

OK you won't be everybody's cup of tea, then again neither are we, but any decent club will be welcoming. You can't legislate for an occasional idiot but you will also find that the vast majority of other guests will be equally as welcoming.

In some of the German clubs we go to the larger ladies seem to get more sex than anyone, some even hold special events which are VERY well attended.

So get your glad rags on, hold your head up and go for it.

Im a larger lady, was a regular at kestrels/abfabs and i usually had more than enough attention. It helps to wear something you feel attractive and comfortable in. I dont like very short outfits so i tend to plump (pun intended) for longer, sheer outfits that i know i will feel confident in.

Jaydees does a BBW night and it is wonderful. I have BBW friends who go on other nights too. Most clubs are very welcoming. The VA is the only place we (my wife and friends) have felt unwanted.

Most clubs are very welcoming to people of all sizes with larger ladies tending to be in the majority, it would seem that the swinging club scene is made up of a lot more plus sized and above than the so called “perfect 10’s”, the average size is possibly 18-22.

The only real worry I would have with a club is the inner circle of bitchy women and the alpha male bully boys that fear for their social positioning in the hierarchy of the club.

Some club owners would disagree but it seems that some club regulars do give off a certain attitude and try anything to make sure that some people are made to feel very unwelcome.

I visited Curvy Club with my wife a few years ago and found it very cliquey...however a female friend who's new to the scene went recently and had a great time. Perhaps it's changed for the better? How frequently do you go?

I went for the first time a few weeks ago. Loved it. Didn’t feel cliquey at all although it was obvious people knew each other. I tend to burst into a place so people know I’m there. I was chatting and laughing and dancing like a regular within minutes.

Honestly thought it was possibly one of the friendliest places I’ve been.

I'm a larger lady and have attended club nights myself and never been looked down at in the playrooms. Just go relax and have fun it's all about the confidence. Confidence is key so you own it girl

Quite a sweeping statement!! And a lot of club events are guestlist, so it’s not a members only evening ... so you get a mix of regulars, occasional & newbies with no ‘inner circle’ of anyone. My Buxom Babes event list already has a good mix of all three, with another 2 weeks to go. As an event host, I work hard to ensure the guest list has a great dynamic & a varied mix of attendees so as to deliver a fantastic atmosphere on the night.

OP, you will be absolutely fine - and I’d be happy to have you on my guest list, although it’s most likely a smidge too far for you!!

I struggle a little with a problem with clubs, at worst it is a social with fun likeminded people, at best they are stunning fun.

Confidence comes from proving your shadow warriors of the mind wrong.

Just go for it girl, you will have fantastic fun at a guess, just remember it a mirror, you get out what you put in.

This is just a fact of life, every club suffers from this, as does lots of establishments where people go to socialise, pubs, vanilla clubs, house parties, there is an inevitable consequence of regular gatherings, you either embrace it and become part of the clique, avoid it and do your own thing, or let it wind you up

OP - not read all this thread but you need have no worries. Clubs tend to be populated by "larger ladies" in any event. No idea why but that is what we have found (particularly any BMFC type meeting) - so you will be fine. Good luck.

So what if you have an extra few pounds. Most people on here do. And I know of a lot of guys who love plus size girls.

Don't be too hard on yourself and don't ever feel you're not good enough. Hope you make it to the club, no doubt you'll have a fantastic time. Would recommend going with someone though, be it a friend with benefits or just a friend. You'll definitely be more comfortable if you go in with someone you know. But even if you go by yourself, you'll feel welcome and in the right place in no time. The few clubs I've been to have all been so friendly and it's so easy to chat to people, with or without sex it's really good fun.

Can't agree with this - clubs CAN be very cliquey - one of the reasons we do not attend them anymore.

We've been to LOTS of clubs. There are people of all shapes, sizes and ages.

You will be fine. Wear something you feel good in and let the staff know you're new. You'll get a tour and staff will usually be extra supportive and keep an eye on you.

We've been to about 23 clubs, and can't say that I've come across a bitchy bullying inner circle at any of them

As others have already said. We have been going to clubs for a few yrs now. From what we have seen it more the larger lady's tearing the house down and totally rocking it

Bbw are very much welcomed and enjoyed by more people than you might have imagined. Also you will find more large average flabby mummy tummies plump lady's at a club than you will body beautiful model type women clubs are for every average Joe

Most clubs have Bbw events maybe try one of them first but trust us when we say you will be made to feel very welcome at any club.

All you need is the confidence to trust others who have commented and get yourself to a club you will not be disappointed.

As other have said on this forum there are BBW nights you can attend also you said there is a lady that goes with her husband why not ask if you could all go together.I have had a look at your profile and pictures and have Fab some of my favourites because I genuinely like them and no other reason.
