Eureka Kent for pool and outdoors

Arousals for nightclub type

Hellfire for kink

Various Naturist clubs available on BN website for the outdoors and wet facilities

Op4f or le boudoir for London options

Silverleigh or bghs for wet facilities but little no or hidden play

I've seen clandestine sex in the pool at Silverleigh. Is there any rules against it there. Given its wet facilities its a more 'tolerant' environment than BGHS and the only one with a year round pool

Both are on the 'wrong' side of London if Kestrels was local for you but there's both Eurekas and Silverleigh. Eurekas is fantastic place in the warmer weather with loads of space to meander outside, and even in these months you've got a couple of large hot tubs, steam room, sauna and a couple of play rooms. Silverleigh has the benefit of ann all year round indoor pool but is quite a small place. I think somebody else has mentioned 'clandestine' fun in the pool, but from what I saw it was pretty obvious. It's quite a small place but the staff are really friendly.

I've not been in a while, but having written this might make a visit today, chocks away!

Well sounds like some other places to try..

It's the outdoor ability that I'll miss most in the summer...especially those days when it's good enough to walk around, but the pool still needs to be covered.

Not aware of anywhere with that particular combination.

Eurekas pool is awesome but it HAS to be warm otherwise you freeze your wotsits off

It's gonna be my weekend choice of clubs during the summer anyway.. it's a great club, just Kestrels was my favourite. Let's hope they don't try and make money off the back of Kestrels closing

We are going to give Hellfire a go as it is the only realistic alternative in distance terms.

For us a there and back in an evening choice is important, so Angels, Swindon Swingers and Hellfire (all avout 1 to 1 1/2 hours away) are our options and Hellfire runs more events, so worth a try

I guess for purely logistical reasons Hellfire may benefit in the short term, I don't think he has promoted it enough but he may well find he's about to get a lot busier

I do have a feeling that Kestrels may be up and running sooner rather than later, the problem they have is Heathrow area commercial rent isn't cheap but they do have a decent size client base which I'm guessing they won't want to dwindle.

Gutted Kestrel/AbFab is closed, we booked flights to Heathrow for the first weekend in March to go for our first visit there.

Need to find another venue in London, we don't have access to car so have to use public transport or short taxi ride.

That rules out VA for us, not keen on Hellfire(the name puts us off lol)

Accommodation near Le Boudoir seems super expensive(We know, it's central London).

Think that kind of just leaves us with OP4F, does anyone know if there is reasonably priced accommodation near to OP4F

Any help would be greatly appreciated

There is a Travelodge in Wood Green which isn't too far. As for Central London remember that some tube lines run 24 hours on Fridays and Saturday so you can book a hotel outside the centre of town. A lot of city hotels offer reasonable rates for weekend as their main clientele are weekday business folk

The Point A has a double room for Friday and Saturday nights for £160 for the stay. It's near Liverpool Street so good for transport and within walking distance of Le Boudoir.

Hey thanks for all the help guys and sorry for going off point and hijacking the thread.

Kestrels sounded great, we imagine it's more of a chilled out vibe and easier to chat with other couples than the noise and hustle of a swinger nightclub, especially as we are still relatively new to the scene.

Roll on Kestrels 2.0, fingers crossed!

The Ibis right near le Boudoir is really nice, literally less than two minutes walk and approximately £100 per night. Very modern and much nicer decir than other Ibis I've seen before.

Tube into London and an Airbnb works well. Give flexibility of coming and going as you wish without worrying about maids walking in on you.

Le Boudoir is well worth a visit when you’re in town. Saturday nights are couples only and just let the owners know you’re newbies and she will introduce you to others during and after you get the guided tour. It’s a fun venue. Enjoy whatever you get up to.

In my opinion Eureka can’t replace kestrels. Kestrel was nice and clean and always found staff cleaning and checking water in jacuzzis and pool and helpful with if any issue arise. I have been to eureka twice. Once in summer and then couple of months ago. They may have outdoor pool but to be honest main house stinks and play rooms are disgusting, even jacuzzi area isn’t that nice.

Eureka is not looking to replace Abfabs/Kestrals in any way shape or form. We have been running for 50 years now and will keep going and going. Just to clarify the above our tubs and pool when open are checked on an hourly basis in line with health and safety and we also have an independent company come in to check our water on a monthly basis. Our main cleaning is also done once the club is closed and we have a cleaner on hand daily throughout the day. Sorry the above poster had a bad time on his visit, maybe a mention of concerns when he was here could have rectified the raised points.

Anyway our offer still stands any abfab/kestrals Members who come along will receive a free yearly membership on production of your current abfab/kestrals membership card and a form of ID to confirm you are the card holder.

Firstly what a very kind offer. Great business sense but still a very generous offer, one I’ll be taking you up on soon. Is there a date by which that must be done?

I always reserve judgement of a club for my own views.

From close friends that have visited it seems the only thing you are missing is a pool for the winter. Any plans to make that happen?

Eureka is one of my favirite clubs. I can honestly say i have never had a bad visit. (Passing over the towel mualfunction swiftly, sorry Wee lassy my fault lol). The grounds are amazing, the recent referb great. Staff are always friendly. I have found the party nights have a good atmospher with people far less up themselves than some parties in other places.

As for the drive upto the gates (still no motorway to the swimming pool tisk), yep even for a man who learned to drive on country roads its "challanging". Then again its worth it when you arrive.

Viva Eureka!

Eurekas and Kestrels are/were 2 different entities... I personally preferred Kestrels, but also kept an open mind when I went to Eurekas. Its a bit like do you prefer Mac or PC... Android or IOS... nothing wrong with either just each has a different slant. I'm more than happy to make Eurekas my 2nd home during summer with my fellow friends or without.. I just love some naked sunbathing and a dip in the (freezing) pool mixed in with much laughter from the other folk who are all there for the same thing.

Thank you eurekas for your kind offer to Kestrels folk

Bath...ish area

A generous off from Eurekas however, I've never been to Eurekas and doubt I ever will as it is just far too far for me to get to. Kestrels was a 170 mile round trip unless I was working in the area. So that alternative for Kestrels is ruled out for me. There is nowhere that has what Kestrels did (excluding weekends):

Opening hours

Pay once and stay for up to 14 hours

Single males accepted

Year round pool and jacuzzis

So guess that's it for me and I will be not going clubbing much in future. Well not until Kestrels 2 opens

Kestrel was my first club ... And always the best.

Bank holidays sat in the garden area just chilling watching the world go by and a lovely crowd of people - many who became driends.

Really sad ita closed down as it has the balance spot on.

Fingers crossed a phoenix rises from these ashes.

I don’t understand why owners had to closedown completely. They can still keep this place running for Friday and Saturdays night parties like many places. That way staff will have jobs, if not full time but at least part time and it’ll make many clients happy. If there is issue with green belt they can get rid of car park, dungeon and outer buildings and sheds and open pool in summer only. It’s a big house they can change layout indoors and add few xtra things. It’s just a suggestion as I don’t know all in and outs with council decision. X
