When you go to your first club is it best to go to one that is quite a distance from your home as would be abut Awkward meeting someone you know ?

Mmm it’s a false logic, what about if everyone else thinks the same and travels miles too? As a grown up accept the fact that you may run into people you know, you are all there for the same thing, say hello and just be adult about the situation x

Naturally that might be a worry but reality is the fab community is a small fraction of society lol not very likely but could be possible in extreme cases! Hey, might have an even more intense time, sexually aha

We were at Chams once. Sat in the hot tub. With 3 couples all within a few miles of us and each other. They Had all gone there so as not to bump into anyone that they knew

I live 10 mins from chams, and have never run into anyone I know.

Don't stress about it, everyone is there for the same reason.

OP4F is 20 - 30 minutes drive from me Rios 45 minutes drive I have yet to come across anyone I know.I think I would be a bit embarrassed if it was a member of my family as I am sure any one would but if it was a work colleague I would be less embarrassed.

12 years, visited dozens of clubs (wouldn't even be able to guess the number of visits in total) and never bumped into anyone we know.

Bumping into family at a club has happened to me.

The first time it was my sister and her husband, the second time was my uncle and his wife.

We were all a bit embarrassed, for about 30 seconds, then we had a good laugh about it.

The only impact it has had on any of us is we choose to play in private lockable rooms rather than public areas if we are visiting a club at the same time.

I've bumped into a work colleague at a club. It was a bit of a shock for us both but at the end of the day we're both in the same boat and now when we see each other we just say hi.

It's good that you could all laugh about it.I hope it doesn't happen to me as I am generally a bit shy and resvered it but if it does I hope like you we can laugh about and keep it private.

You’re either going to bump into someone or you aren’t, regardless of the distance. We’ve visited 6 clubs in the uk and a couple abroad too and we have bumped into someone we knew but it took almost 3 years of visits for that to happen and it wasn’t in our closest club.

Still we were all adults about it, even ended up arranging to meet and playing together so it all ended well and now we are all good friends

That's what we think (with the exception of the vulgar "Fuck em" [sic] portion of the post.

We've not bumped into anyway we know at clubs yet, but wouldn't really care if we did.

We were in a club with friends when a guy walked in they knew they were worried sick so I said let’s go over to him his first words were hi I not seen you and you not seen me . After all most people on here want this kept private

They have seen him outside the swinging scene and nothing has ever been said
