Various clubs and events have been written about over the years in a number of papers (usually red tops though). They like a bit of casual sex outrage.

Merseyside

note how the source was anonymous...not so much as they gave away they go to fetish events & are "newbies"

To be honest the echo is grasping at straws, last month it was strip clubs, This month swinging..

At least it wasn't negative for Jim&Vic! Should be some good publicity and maybe find some new blood lol

Leeds

Good publicity for them indeed. Say high cleanliness rating and they abide by all council legislation!

The Echo isn't a national paper, it's a local Merseyside paper.

Lots of clubs have been in the press before but to be fair, we're all boring news and people really don't care about us swingers anymore so articles are few and far between.

They contacted us earlier in the week to say it was going ahead regardless and did I have any comments. They shared the whole letter that was sent into them by the anon source and it was an old fetish member.

I just found it hilarious that the article was in the What's On and Entertainment section!!!! hahahaha

xx

Was the article in a positive light? Or the usual newspaper soon of "look at these sick deviants" ?

If it was private no one would know about it. It's to be expected that the papers will do write ups etc. They only thing they're not meant to do is publish names/photos without consent, although a paper previously done so but that soon backfired with them having to fork out compensation.

Just read it on the old book of face!! Congrats!! It’s definitely a positive read. Your replies on there are hilarious though! Loads of positive comments on there from merseysiders too. I’ve got a feeling membership numbers will be going up haha! Could’ve definitely been worse
