Hi, I’m looking to visit a club around Manchester next Saturday 16/12. Nervous as it’s gonna be my first time, can anyone offer me any advice? Thank you

Yes. People will spot you right away and know it's your first time. Keep that info handy when the offers start coming in, and be patiently selective.

Check the club you're planning on visiting allows single guys in on a Saturday night, as most don't. Don't forget your id on the night either (driving licence is best), or it's likely you won't be allowed in. Best to phone a couple of days in advance, as most clubs limit the amount of single guys they allow in on any given night. Chat to anyone inside who is willing to talk to you, as it helps ease the nerves, but be aware that the majority of regulars tend to avoid 'newbie' single guys, also expect to receive a few 'Thanks, but we're not looking for a single guy'. DON'T expect to play.
