Went to the attic last night, first time in a club. Was wondering for any tips on club etiquette.

I go to the attic regularly and its a difficult one as there's not really any good socialising areas, unless you're a smoker.

My advice would be to find the places people are socialising, join in with conversations (if you have an input or interested), or initiate a conversation.

Obviously, the thing people hate most is being followed around a club, so avoid that.

When/if talking with a couple make sure you speak to both halves, not just one.

Treat it like a night at a normal club and you'll be fine.

Say what? I have chatted to loads of people either near the dance floor area, or just plonked on a settee in the corridor

I find the music is too loud to engage near the dance floor, unless you already know people. I don't find the settees are scattered in a way for people to mingle either, as there's only the ones near the bar that are positioned in a way for people to talk.

I thought the place where they used to have the beds was a good place to socialise, even though it said no socialising, but they now have the curtain rooms there instead.

It's not just the attic I find that lacks good socialising areas, but most clubs I've been to. Chams, for me, is the best club to meet new people.

The hot tubs at Kestrel Hydro/Abfabs are great places to chat.

Yeah, I agree with Chams, I went for the first time earlier this year with a lady off here and spent a couple of nights in one of their rooms. Only trouble was, as it was January and a dress down club, it was cold even in the smoking area and everyone was huddling round the heaters to keep warm

Hey I've been doing this for awhile and still don't think there is a definite set of rules.

Exhibitionist get pissed when they aren't watched, greedy girls don't like to be ignored either.

Mostly don't follow too close or be too pushy. Don't be guy who follows couples and expects something to happen.

Chat to the women and couples they won't bite, remember you are chatting up the guy and the girl. Some can be a bit pretentious the "We hate single guys" brigade.

If you do find out the rules let me know lol
