We were looking to try a different club this weekend and was wondering if anyone could give us some feedback on the attic ?

i.e. size, number of people usually (hard one to predict I know) and the ratio of single men to couples

Any help would be appreciated

Saturdays night are always busy in my experience, enjoyed a good few nights there.

Some moan about single guys but you get that in every club that allows single guys in.

Only thing bad about the club is the staff and the owner, they speak to customers as if they are an inconvience to them, and treat single guys like the dirt on their shoe, after about 11 the owner can be found slumped over salivating in some sleezy side room trying to get women onto his vibrating dildo machine - it really is that bad. Such a shame that with all clubs it seems the staff are the weak link, La Chambre is the same now too - such a shame.

I'd say give it ago, it's still a good night despite the staffs best efforts to ruin it...

I would not listen to this guy if we was you, he spreads silly rumors about like he's spreading muck in a field.

All clubs are different and appeal to different people, our best advise is to try them for yourself and make up your own mind about each club you visit.

its hard to gauge any club on any night but as we are local to their we have seen a few friends and local couples with meets up.

Ignore the rant about the staff. The attic is single guy friendly and on the whole the staff are great.. And the owner.. Well I'm sure he must be related to old Hugh

( his Mrs is really lovely too)

The only time ive seen anyone get spoken to harshly really is if breaking the rules x

It's a friendly club but no two days are the same. We went for 2 weeks and there was barely any play. Then the last time it was happening everywhere....

We enjoy a club even if all we do is chat and enjoy each other. And the mirrored room is worth going for .

We go to clubs all over. So not just attic fans

I cant comment on the Attic but clearly this person has no idea about La Chambre, The staff there are very professional and bend over backwards to ensure your night is an enjoyable and save one. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them.

Its a very good club, the staff are friendly and welcoming as is the owner. It's quite a big club, lots of different themed room.

As you said you cant really predict how many people are going to turn up on the night, but Saturday's generally busiest.In my opinion I think the club works hard to maintain a good single men to couples balance but as I said it is my opinion. Every place is going to have lovers and haters so really the best thing to do it try it for your self.

If you were going to try a new club I would say this one would be a good one to try as unlike some other clubs there is no membership costs also for couples the entry price is relatively inexpensive. So if you turn up and decide the club's not for you then comparatively you wouldn't have lost out too much.

So it's a valid point I made, thank you for clarifying.

As for how I viewed it and my opinion on it, most would agree with me that the "experience the club offers" is very sleazy and a massive turn off to everyone apart from the owner and gang of friends. So when discussing the club it is right to mention this.

As I stated in my original post, i recommended that the club was worth visiting, but just highlighted a few points to be aware of.

Sadly it seems if you say anything negative it seems you get lynched on here. As for the points I made they are factually correct, i want the club to do well as I attend on occasion - I want it to be packed. Why can feedback be taken in a way to improve the club rather than causing arguments

you seem to know a lot of detail about this machine and the owner, if you don't like something in a club then move on to another area. You come across as pushing your views and opinions onto others. if people are using this machine then clearly they like it, if you don't then don't watch it.

Most people would find what goes on in that room sleazy, so yes, when I'm asked about the club I will give my full opinion both good and bad. I will remind you that I said I would recommend trying the club...

from the crowd of people around it the last few times we were there.. it seems that it's a fun part of the night for many.

I ( Cali) have no interest in trying the machine but will sometimes watch others..... but do enjoy the electrics. It's not seedy if people are willing and enjoying it.

Ok a fact check as I see it.

The machine you are referring to is a sybian, not a vibrating dildo.

The room isn't just a side room. It is an open playroom with a sex swing. It is used for the sybian because it is a relatively large room that lots of users and spectators can fit into and it isn't frequently used.

The owners friends you refer to are actually paying customers just like you are. There is usually a mixture of regulars and new visitors watching and trying it out.

Ok a fact check as I see it.

The machine you are referring to is a sybian, not a vibrating dildo.

I'm bored of this now, but whatever you want to call it, it is a vibrating object that goes into the woman's vagina. So in my basic terms (of vibrating dildo) I think I was accurate enough to make the point, dont thimk that makes me factually wrong as you have tried to make out on your "fact check".

For the use of the term "side room", to be clear this is a room through a doorway off the main corridor so again I think my wording is factually accurate to make my point.

We will have to disagree about the people spectating in the room, but whether they pay or not was not the point I was making. I'm sure some people love the room, but the point I made was that I don't - don't think it warranted a 20+ post debate about it to be honest.

All this arguing has only highlighted my point even more, also the fact I am having threats of violence over saying something negative about the club maybe tells you something about the clientele. Especially when the larger point I was raising was that it was "worth attending but be aware if a few points"

I stated in my post at the top of this thread the staff are an issue at La Chambre too - so yes I have mentioned another club in the last few weeks. Does this catch me out? No. Does this mean I am telling lies? No.

You mention that no one has supported my opinion, that is correct in the last hour on this forum post I am in the minority. Does that make me wrong? No.

I'm the one who is being called a list as I find something sleazy. It's a matter of opinion, it's not a lie. We all have different points of view and I've shared mine as requested in the opening post. Everyone's wish to try to make me out to be a list is boring and has ruined the post for anyone actually trying to work out to visit the club or not

The Attic is always busy on a Saturday night, I am a single guy and I always had fun and met some lovely friends there too, Ron and the staff are very friendly and helpful, so come along on Saturday and see your yourself and I am sure you will be back for more. John

Hi there 2 town couple!

We've been to the attic twice now in 6 weeks! Can honestly say we enjoyed it both times! The second time we went we stayed over in the house, that was well worth it btw. Give it a go if you're free! The people we've met (staff and customers) have been nice and friendly. We may be going this weekend too...

Same as Above read the reviews about the Attic decide if you want to pop along or not. We tend to visit a new club at least 3 times to decide whether we like it or not. The numbers of singles etc who will be there is hard to predict. The staff at both the Attic and LC’s are friendly and very approachable.

And as for Follow I think he’s upset about not been let on the Symbian as he wanted to try it analy but was refused.

Party nite r agd nite twice a month lovely hosts massive club. We really enjoy it there and do travel a long way to go well worth the visit

We knew there was something about this guy, his profile is only 2 weeks old, it wasn't even 24hrs old before he started messaging about the staff at LC and posting that the club was closing down. The he comes on this thread and starts slating the owner of this club. We think it is a fake or a second profile he's using.

Just to clarify few points as I notice the personal insults are still coming, days after the discussion, based on nothing other than the fact they disagree with my opinion.

The thread asked for opinion on the Attic.

I gave a balanced opinion on the Attic, which was that it "was worth visiting but that there are a couple of negative points" to be aware of.

Because there was some negative points within my overall positive view of the Attic, some members decided to argue and try and accuse me of being innacurate.

When I questioned them further they had to agree that (although I didn't know the technical name for the equipment in the room) I was telling the truth, however their personal opinion was different to my personal opinion.

Now, do I think because their personal opinion being different to mine they are lying? No, I think that their opinion is different to mine, simple as that. They can state their opinion as the OP asked for and then the OP can read all views to form their own opinion. That's what they asked for. Sadly it seems when asked for opinion, if you give anything other than positive you open yourself up to threats and personal abuse.

People seem to have thought they caught me out as I have also spoken about La Chambre over the last few weeks, well it doesn't take much to work that out, if your read my initial post to the end I also stated these views here too. So hardly takes a mastermind to work this out, I said it myself - on this very thread. Well done Sherlock!

I'm not going to even merit the "retard" comments or that I'm only unhappy with the club as the owner wouldn't let me on the dildo comments with a response - for anyone reading this can judge those (hilarious) comments for themselves.

The funny thing is that, when trying to defend the club you have done more damage to the club's reputation than I possible could with one post - seeing the "club faithful" bullying and throwing insults around is what people will see when they click on this thread. You have also given my comments a thousand timed more publicity than it would have got if everyone hadn't argued and they'd just done what the OP asked for and gave then their opinion.

No yes I have had to hide my profile because of the threats in receiving- hope you're all very proud of that, it's bullying pure and simple!

Above is your original post, lets look at this for a moment...

The OP ask for peoples opinions on the Attic, you stated that Saturdays where the busier day, ok with that. you then state that people moan about single guys, yes this can be a general thing in any club that allows single guys in. You then went into a lengthy explanation about the owner and staff, this is nothing more than a personal attack on them by you. Where in your post did you give the OP any information regarding the club, its rooms, its facility's, is it a dress down or clothed club, is it a bring your own or do they serve drinks, do the club have towels or do you bring your own, does it have a pool or hot tub ???. No the main focus of your point was to slate the owner and Staff, you then told the OP that La Chambre was the same, the OP did not ask about La Chambre so why did you even mention it, you comment of its the same refers to the owners and staff being sleezy and rude.

everyone is entitled to an opinion including you but what you are trying to pass off as your opinion everyone else see's it as personal insults to the owners and staff at two clubs. Your parting comment of "I'd say give it ago, it's still a good night despite the staffs best efforts to ruin it" is really saying give it a go but the staff will spoil your night, another insult, not a comment that would make someone want to try a club.

There are plenty or reviews saying the door staff are rude in the review section of fab, there are also numerous comments about the owner and his machine. So although I agree the 4 or 5 people who are trying to debate me do not agree with my views I am certainly not alone.

As for your second point stating I didn't cover all aspects of the clubs facilities and rules...What do you actually mean by this, are you suggesting that unless you cover every aspect of the club you should not say anthing at all? Do you hold all posts to this standard, or just ones you disagree with. I assume when someone writes "top night will be going again soon" you immediately reply with...

So I've just been through this whole thread, taking out the arguing about my opinion (which is about 80% of the thread) not one comment has lived up to your criteria of...

So have you messaged these people in private? Because you haven't said anything on the forum? Or is it just me you feel should cover every aspect of the club's rules/facilities in order to make my point.

I appreciate this is not a review forum, but it is you who has brought this up.

I'd really like an answer as to why you hold answers you don't agree with to a different standard to those you agree with?
