Drove past there yesterday whilst working snd noticed a huge 10 foot fense going round perimeter but saying open as usual!!!

Very odd. Does anyone know what there doing??

It's now a members club. They are putting up a fence and you have to show your membership card to get in or sign up. No day passes anymore

A complaint has already gone in to Spelthorne over the fence, they haven't got permission and it breaches regulations, they are making more trouble for themselves.

We've been going to AbFab for nearly 10 years now and always found the management to run a very orderly ship. Clean, sensibly priced, good opening hours and has an excellent reputation. So what if they've hit a wall with a few legalities, so what if their ship sinks? Concentrate on the positive, moreover, concentrate on enjoying yourself. If you don't like them, maybe consider changing your name to something other than that which quite clearly shows you were once a very avid supporter.

Seriously. stop slagging off the club. That's all you ever seen to do on here..... If u don't like the club go somewhere else it's getting silly now

It does seem like some posters have a serious hard-on for wanting the club to be closed down. I can't see that anyone on here thinks it should be closed down because they failed to address planning regulations so perhaps there are personal issues with the club which they aren't keen to share.

The club is a diamond of a club,the management and staff will always go out of there way to make it an enjoyable visit,I now drive down from Leicester to visit so that says something about the place,
