I'm desperate to go to a club, but I'm worried. What exactly happens? Is everyone accepted?

Greater Manchester

We actually find clubs a lot less intimidating, there is no pressure to join in, and most even have private rooms which we have found to be a lot of fun as we work our way up to the open rooms.

Almost all clubs are extremely welcoming and friendly. Esp as a couple. You'll probably be assigned a guide or buddy to introduce you to people and help you feel settled in. The key thing is its SOCIAL so try to enjoy that part. Very body positive I find...

Exactly this! There is no pressure at all and we have found everyone to be very welcoming. It's mostly a few hours of socialising/dancing and then people going off to have fun either in private or in front of others. Mrs T

I took my rather shy fwb to a club a couple of months ago, we have now been 6 times and joined on our 2nd visit, we both love it!

Most clubs are very chilled out, there is no expectation to play and if it’s a dress down club you get used to not being fully clothed faster than you imagine.

In terms of types of people there, that obviously varies but I’ve found that you get a good cross section of society. There really are all shapes and sizes. As well as ages, tho to be fair I’ve found that demographic to be normally on the slightly older side 30+

hiding from cock pics.

Clubs are not scary at all.

Think of it like a bar where people tend to be more receptive and friendly, the ladies can dress much sexier than anywhere else apart from in private, and there is an air of excitement as who knows what might happen.

Most clubs will offer you a tour and introduce you to one or two people.

Some clubs have event nights, with people hosting them who will also help you meet other people there.

For me there is no looking back, I enjoy the social side of it the dancing, meeting new people, dressing up, and knowing there is a chance to watch or join in a sexual shenanigan, should the chemistry be right and the opportunity arise.

The first time is always scary, however for us its a club every time. Lot less pressure and as we only ever go on a couples night, we did try going on a single male night but Sam didn't enjoy this as much.

We also only go to clubs that have a night club type of atmosphere and stay away from dress down clubs as Sam likes to get ready and dress for the event.

We are off to a club night on Saturday and looking forward to it already

I (miss) was really nervous rhe first time, however the owners were so friendly and gave us a great tour.

No pressure to dress down till we wanted to either, was just like being on a night out ,but with benefits.

Go and gave a brill time and dont worry ,people of all types go to clubs

Its much like going to the pub, but people actually talk to eachother.

Very social, welcoming and a place people should feel safe.

Clubs are for all and far less scary than private meets in my personal opinion. No pressure to play and no expectations.

Treat them as a bar with different kind of games room

Never any bother and most are very sociable evenings.

Let us introduce you

Yes and no, it will feel scary the first time you can't avoid that but once your nerves calm down a bit, you will relax much more. It took us a couple of hours or so. I would say make sure you and partner stay together, I was horrified at the joint toilet thing and it turned out a god send.

People respect no ! Don't forget that and I imagine if anyone who was an idiot would be ejected immediately. Go for it, we don't play with anyone else and the sex is the best I've ever had

We were nervous first time we went, and still are to an extent - but it is the excitement that something could happen it is great to get dressed up, meet others who do the same and you are openly allowed to admire and compliment others, and in some cases actually get very intimate with them! We don't always play, sometimes only n our own, sometimes with a guy, sometimes with a couple - not yet with just a single girl

Its a fairly safe environment, no need to be worried nothing that you don't want to happen will happen. Which one were you thinking of going to?

We went for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was soooooo nervous (hubby was less so.)

It was so laid back and friendly though. We both loved it!

We can't wait to go again.

We've been attending clubs for 3 yrs now - first few visits we were very nervous but the people we met and the staff at the clubs put us at our ease. Now we see that people of all type, shape, preference can find like-minded swinging friends. Nerves are natural.....partly because of the excitement of doing something with so many naughty possibilities, partly because most human beings are worried about rejection, wanting to belong/ be liked! Once you learn how to approach people, chat about swinging/life/trivia and how to have a variety of erotic experiences you will wonder why you didn't try clubs before

This is very true - some of my best experiences have been in clubs. I think also whislst you may read about the odd bad experiences, I think there are not as common as the people that go week in and week out

I have been in and out of club scene for nearly 13 years, I have seen couple fight, I have seen most erotic or play, I have seen 2 young lads run out of a room as they can't get hard and need some chemical help, I have seen a lady squirt all over a room.

We have only had one negative experience at a club but with hindsight it was partially our fault. we bent out rules and got bitten for it.

Generally they are decent places to chat, relax and if someone grabs your attention to play...go without any expectations of play and enjoy any surprises that may happen

Not at all, before I went in a club I thought that. Once you take the plunge and venture inside you will love it. Full of friendly and naughty people. Now I'm a regular.

Every club is different and every night is different, people have there favourites, people have ones they wouldn't go to again, us included, just choose a regular couples night, go along and see how you get on, many are like a local pub with its regulars, weirdos and nice people, who you interact with will dictate if you have a nice night or not, so pick some people with a friendly disposition who are not excessively drinking and just start up a conversation, good luck x
