FabSwingers.com forum: Non "event" nights

Hi,

Ok look to go to my first club but on the nights I'm free there's no specific event. Am I safe to assume that these nights are just as good as other nights?

It'll be either a Thursday or Friday night at either townhouse or cupids as these are the closest to me.

All honest advice welcome x

Most clubs will have nights that are themed and some that are good old swinging nights as not everyone wants the fuss of a theme all the time.

For us, our Wednesday nights are newbie nights with no theme as such but our Thursday and Fridays usually target specific tastes if not themed. Our only Thursday that is less of a theme is our Kinky Karaoke night which is just a regular swinging party, with kinky karaoke in one room. So you can choose to duck out of it if you wish as the rest of the club is warble free!

I am sure Cupids can offer you other alternatives too and it's just as welcoming to new guys.

Events that target specific groups or themed are usually well attended in clubs and the non theme, plain old swinging events can be a little quieter...not always, but as a general rule. It depends what you want from your night really...busy, quieter, more social or play focussed.

I would say, have a look at both club websites and get a feel for the events on offer and then call up both of us for a chat about your chosen night (s) to get a better feel for how we both work. If you call us, please say you posted in the Fab forum and give us your fab name as we literally get dozens and dozens of calls a day and it would be nice to be able to relate to your thread here when I speak to you. Cupids will be just as accommodating and will welcome your call, so don't hesitate to contact them also.

Your first swinging club experience needs to be a good one to set you on the right path and not put you off, so it's important to do your homework and choose the right night
