Clubs can be great depending where you go. Get the chance to chat with people face to face

Every club is different.

But my fav is kestrels as it has a covered pool and hot tubs. Staff are friendly and the people are nice

You'll be spotted as 'fresh meat'.

Everyone will have a go at shagging your mrs and you'll go home frustrated.

The above comment is ridiculous! Sorry, it's your opinion and you are entitled to it...it did make me spit my tea out and laugh out loud though!!

Everyone will NOT try to shag your Mrs if you choose the right club and the right night. Most good clubs enforce their rules and people will not hound you. As for going home frustrated, that is down to you and your expectations. If you go with the high expectation of a play and don't get it, then yes, it can be frustrating. If you go with the different mindset though of, go for a good night out and a giggle, then a play is a bonus.

Clubs all offer different things and hold various nights for specific tastes. So be careful about your choice and definitely speak to the owners before you go to get a feel for the place and how it's run.

Walking into a club for the first time can be really daunting, but some clubs offer newbie nights, so you are one of many attending as a newbie and not 'fresh meat' as the above poster stated. Communicate before, during and after to get your own boundaries set and don't be afraid of saying No! Clubs can be a lot of fun as long as you do your research, go in with low expectations and your eyes wide open.

Wherever you choose....enjoy! xx

For the most part you are safer in a swingers club than you are in a vanilla night club / pub.. strict rules of behaviour & etiquette ensure you & your partner enjoy your visit, without pressure to do anything that YOU, as a couple don't want to do. It's about your choices, your experience & no one else's.

Treat your first visit to a club as reconnaissance - fact finding:-

Is clubbing for us?

Is this the right club for us?

Are the people & the mix right for our needs, wants & desires

The hardest part of making the journey to swinging is setting your personal & mutual boundaries before you arrive, making the right choices & NOT rushing your experience.

Have fun & play safe with big smiles in your faces that is the key xx Cupids "where the customer comes first"

OP you have been given some great advice by 2 clubs already on this thread.

I would suggest looking at the club reviews section, they all have links to their websites on there. Do some research into which club and go for it.

Some clubs are dress down clubs, some not. Some have a nightclub feel and some are more of a spa/sauna. Decide what appeals more and plan your visit. You can also phone the clubs for advice on where to stay etc.

Cupids is excellent, I haven't been to townhouse yet although it is on my to do list.

The club will give you a tour when you arrive and explain the rules/etiquette. Just relax, chat to people and enjoy the experience.

Each club is different and they then differ again depending on what event they are hosting. Read up, see what looks like something you'll be comfortable with and go with a smile on your face and an open mind. As a first timer, I always email the club to introduce myself and have never yet been treated with anything other than a warm welcome and care by the staff.

Well said! That is definetly not what happens unless you want it to, we have only been to Town House but it was very friendly and laid back and made us feel very at ease on our first visit, so much so that we have been going there regularly for 6 months now. My advice would be to give it ago or you will never know, you will love it!
