Club recommendation

I live in Hampshire and to date have only been to Angels. My birthday is the end of September so have the idea in my head of a sexy weekend away somewhere. I have no issues going alone (depending on male friends calendar) but where should I go? Where should I road trip to? Sorry for the very newbie(hopefully not insulting) question but do different clubs attract different types of people?

It's all a question of just how far you are willing to travel and what sort of club experience you're looking for.

The clubs can vary immensely with some catering for the more seady side with some very basic play rooms and social areas that have little thought to interior design or a theme running through the haphazardly arranged furnishings. But then that kind of club might suit some people who are more concerned with the physical activity than the state of the carpet in the playrooms.

Then at the other end of the spectrum, you have the venues that are very classy and well run, which have plush interiors which seem much more inviting for the newbie or the person who likes to feel a bit more special if they are to play with an air of exclusivity by being in more welcoming surroundings.

If you're looking for to make a weekend of it then you could look into which clubs offer overnight stays, which I know Eureka's, The VA and Chameleons all do. All three are more of the classy kind of clubs and are quite dotted around the country in Kent, Bedfordshire and Birmingham.

You could also look at traveling to a couple of clubs over the weekend with doing one on the Friday and another localish one on the Saturday?

You're best to study the club listings on Fabs and work out what route or distance you are prepared to travel.

Either way, I hope you have a lot of fun at whatever clubs your little adventure takes you to.

Hi Nerd Girl,

I guess it depends whereabouts in Hampshire you are, but Abfabs is probably closest (Heathrow) and there is a travelodge nearby to overnight in. VA is a nice club, as is Jaydees or Xtasia if you are wanting to venture north, but all clubs have a very different vibe so it's often trial and error till you find somewhere that floats your boat

Appreciate the advice thank you! Travelling is not a problem as I will make a weekend of it. I have "friends"on here who are very north who i would love to meet so would combine the two. I just know I have that weekend and feel like an Adventure. I'm mid (ish) Hampshire and like i said have only been to Angels which I didn't know was the standard

All depends on what you're looking for in a club really! People rave about Chams but I hated it, and people whinge about eurekas but I love it there - everyone has their own wishlist for their perfect club night!

I generally find that if you go with a good crowd of mates you can have fun pretty much anywhere, but definitely have my preferred clubs.

I suggest you try a few!

I would say each club as pros and cons

I hated partners when I went and loads loved it,

Chams, cupids and amours do well so does quest so does abfabs

If your in manc end of September I can show your amours or cupids

The advantage of AbFabs/Kestrels is you can spend the day relaxing, sunbathing and soaking in the tubs then have a night of fun.

If you are heading North their are loads of clubs that you could visit. I could recommend Attic ( Derby) Townhouse ( Wirral) Chameleons( Darlaston near Birmingham) and my personal favourite Atlantis ( Stoke). I am a regular there and would happily meet up with you there. It's an excellent club for party night's. They do banners , balloons and all that stuff

After bumping into you at Angels you may be better at chams on the Friday where they'll be single guys in the evening
