First time at a club

We're thinking about going to Vanilla Alternative for our first club trip soon. We're obviously a little nervous and worried about ending up just sat having a drink by ourselves!

Any suggestions or tips for first timers? Or anyone going soon who we can get to know beforehand?

You won't be don't worry!

Clubs seem scary but they are actually relaxed ..fun

Maybe put a thread up in area asking who's going ..

Do your research ..what do they wear there ..do you take own alcohol etc ...

Just mingle..be friendly ... relax and have an amazing night ..xx

I'm actually thinking of going to VAs myself this summer. I need a willing victim to come with as a couldn't manage it on my own

I kind of want someone in my area to also join me on the road trip there. I've had a couple of let downs

The first visit is always the most nerve raking! Just remember to be yourself, don't enter into anything that doesn't agree with you and if unsure about anything you can always ask the staff. I've been to many clubs over the years, and have seen a steady pattern of real investments into venues and respect for club goers alike. Granted you'll always come across chancers, but on the whole its what you make it!! X

We've never been to VA, but the few we've been to had a very relax atmosphere and felt like walking into any 'normal' bar.

I'm sure VA is very good, not been myself but can recommend Chamilions.

Staff are always friendly as are the guests. It's clean and has great facilities (2x hot tubs, sauna, steam and plenty of play rooms. Inc Cinema.) plus you can stay over....

Suggest where ever you go, don't worry.... talk to people and don't be afraid to ask to join or indeed decline those who may ask you, who are outside your own parameters.

Just be friendly and welcoming - and old fashioned smile and 'hi' always breaks the ice.

We are going to VA this Friday to Dark Desires - the last one was excellent, and one nice thing about the venue is there is a dance area, a relaxing chat area, a huge hot tub and a big play area, so you can move around depending on your mood!

Don't over think it or worry just go and enjoy!

Want to go to Decadence in Rochdale on a Monday afternoon to test the water. Would love to know if any people on here will be there also. I would love to see friendly faces to help with my nerves

Have a look at liberty elite they co host with SIN EVENTS (on fab)

Always a great 1st club experience full of hot friendly couples xx
