Going to a club as a single woman

Hi everyone

I'm planning on going to a club as a lone woman and I wondered whether you had any advice.

I went to one before but it was very quiet so I'm not sure it was a typical experience (if there is such a thing).

What if no one talks to me? What if everyone is simply gorgeous? How do I get involved? How do I avoid getting involved? Should I just stay at home instead?! Help!

Thanks in advance!

I've made single girl friends come with me! So much fun. It's a really social thing most are really excited and end up playing. Everyone I've always met at the clubs have been lovely, which one are you planning on going to? You could always put up a social meet saying you're going and for people to come say hi there or chat to some people going that night before you go!

I have been a few times and it's always been fine.

Message the club beforehand and tell them you are coming alone, they will be welcoming and the owners of the club I went to went out of their way to make sure I was ok.

Hi I regularly go as a single female. Try chatting to a few people who regularly attend on their own then you will have someone to say Hi when you get there. Drop me a pm if you want to xx

I went to Chams as a single fem last Monday night after hubby dared me too.

We go as a couple somthe staff etc know me.

The people in there are on the same page as you so finding someone to chat to isn't that difficult.

I met a lovely couple and we ended up as a three in one of the rooms after watching a bit of a show in one of the dungeon style rooms.

It was a great night, you will be fine, just be yourself. Mxx

Thanks everyone.

JustLoitering - thanks. That's reassuring. You're right - we should hire a minibus and arrive as a posse of single women!

Sunshine - that's good advice. I will call ahead.

Bambi - thanks very much. I'll drop you a PM later.

M&M - that sounds amazing and terrifying!

Think if you post which club the minibus is going you'd have a record attendance for a club night ????

Everything depends on which night you go to, which club, who is there and what you will want out of the night

As a single women people will talk to you like flys on poo lol x

Right so we need a minibus for the single women and 17 double-deckers for the chaps...

Curious - thanks. I'm sure it'll be fine. It just feels daunting.

NewCouple - ha ha. Flies round poo isn't exactly how my fantasy goes!!!

Goodnite - that's a good point about making sure it's the right night. There was a couples-and-singles one which might be the best.

By now we'd imagine the OP has been inundated with messages from the following:-

1. Single guys offering to accompany her

2. Couples offering to accompany her

3. Club groupies saying come to ....... it's the best club ever, you'll have a great time blah blah blah

Beware OP, all that glitters ain't gold

So Women's Night it is!

Ok I'll PM you all a club and a date. I'll have to do it tomorrow because it says I need to add a profile pic to be able to message some of you.

Thanks for making it feel easier. You're all so lovely!

Ladies,

Some girlfriends of mine are hosting a social on the 16th in London with quite a few people planning to go to Le Boudoir afterward. I know it's a bit out of the way for some of you but message me if you're interested in coming along.

My first time at a club was after a social which made it much easier to enjoy as I wasn't going on my own (and a few of us were newbies).

Hello lovely,

Please take the plunge, as long as your sociable and friendly you will be just fine.

Don't forget the clubs duty to take of you and if you have any problems which I doubt you will encounter just tell a member of staff.

I go alone, was nervous at first but now I'm like an old pro lol.

Life is too short go for what you desire always

I'm from south east Wales so give us a shout if you want company to any nearby in the south west or midlands x

I know exactly how you feel as I'm giving the same thoughts and doubts. I guess for a single lady it is even a more daunting prospect. But the one thing I can't imagine is that you will be ignored, if anything you should prepare for loads more attention than you actually want. In my case my fears are probably going to be realised in that I gave to figure out how to amuse myself without giving offence to anyone. Anyway, best of luck

Check out the "S Private Club - Wednesday" thread on this forum. It's the best place for a single lady to experience enjoyment, socialising, pleasure and passion where all members are respectful. Enjoy!!

Thanks everyone!

Rogue - that sounds ideal. I'm going to try somewhere more local I think but it sounds like lots of fun your way.

Diamond - your post made me smile. You're right. Life is short and I should just get on with it!

Tom - I completely understand the fear that no one will talk to you. Like at a conference when there's enforced mingling!

Funtime - thanks for the suggestion. I'll have a look.

Ok so I'm going to get brave and go to a club soon. I might post an update from the car park as I dare myself to go inside!
