Club in Manchester

Hi everyone.

I'm just asking what are people's experiences at Manchester clubs. Never been to one myself but would love to. Just have to get the courage to get there. Not the most body confident and a few "geeky" tattoos kinda puts me off going.

If you can go in a pub, you can go in a club.

Nothing to worry about. At first you can sit at the bar and chat. Just relax and watch what happens. There's no pressure or judgment, people of all ages and body shapes there.

Loads of great choice in the NW.

We recently went to our first club in Liverpool (Townhouse) and, although we were nervous, we had a great time. It was a really relaxed atmosphere- not pushy at all, and people of all ages, shapes and sizes. So I wouldn't worry at all about going for the first time.

Just go, relax, have a beer and watch the fun unfold. Talk to a few people and see where the night takes you. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun.

We were just about to post about what local clubs are around in Manchester/ which were the best. We've seen Amour- it seems quite popular, so we might head there ourselves for the first time this weekend too.

I hope if you do head down, you have a great time and find what you're looking for.

Hull but travel regularly

Amour is very friendly don't worry. Just go sit at the bar and drink tea like I did last week

I've been to the Manchester clubs and I really enjoyed both cupids and amours. I've also walked into clubs not knowing anyone and lacking in self confidence. This usually disappears within seconds of getting in. There are very few people that are perfect and everyone has their own body hangups so I'm sure you won't be the only one in the club!
