What ever happened to this venture ?? I understand they shot themselves in the foot with opening night but how come no further developments ??

Don't know they cancelled and let people down the day before I got told something to do with the upolsters not showing. I don't think many people bought that line. We all experiance delays I suppose all I would do is take every proposed open date with a pinch of salt.

Carl did have major let down with the upholsterers and was gutted when he had to cancel the opening. The Entice team have had a break after their months of hard work but are back on it now and we should be hearing from them very soon. It's unfair to say "take anything with a pinch of salt" after all, shit happens and Carl and his team have been working incredibly hard to give us a club that goes that extra mile.

A very good friend of ours has been into Entice for a sneak preview and ensures us it is going to be amazing.

Yep, I was told something different too. I've said this before but the only people who can dispel the rumours are the actual owners but they are conspicuous by their absence

Hope it does open. Carl and sinderela put a lot of hard work into it. Not good the buildings up for sale and there's no secure lease in place. Just hope the new owners tolerate a " sex club ". Would serve the south lakes and Cumbria very well as there's not much there ( the source is easy to check its in the marketing sales sheets from the liquidators of the original company that owned the building ) Fingers crossed the upholsters finish and it opens.

I couldn't agree more. All rumours (and mud slinging if that is what it is) can be put to rest with regular, honest updates from the owners. It will shut gossip up and would serve as a good PR exercise which, at the moment, the proposed club appears to be lacking.

Your completely right we shall await the next update. What we thinking plaque of locust? A meteor shower? Or how about North Korea launches a missile against it? Rumours spread like wild fire but once you set a date and let people down the day before. Well what do you expect? I feel those people deserve the truth!

In relation to the rumours regards the club and why we didn't open as been stated before we were let down by the upholsterers who were due to start work the Tuesday before opening and finish on the Thursday ready for carpets and any final touches to be completed.

I tried various other sources to get the work completed but it just wasn't possible in the time frame, esp as I had already paid the original company a sum of money for materials.

This then had a knock on effect as you can imagine and left me no option but to postpone the opening weekend.

After all the build up and hard work that had been put into getting the club ready and organising the opening weekend by everyone involved I felt we needed a break to take stock.

As regards the premises being up for sale the agents and solictor who I have been dealing with assured me that this does not affect our lease or the club opening.

I can only apologise for the delay and as soon as I have any more info regards opening dates I will keep everyone informed.
