Emma & me are in DaDam this week..

Heading to Fata Morgana at the weekend but seeking a bit of mid week fun

Has anyone heard/been/ advise on Sameplace - seems to be more of a bar... but does it get busy with couples/ single girls or just swarms of single guys ?

Same place is like a little old quaint pub.. for swingers lol

Was quiet when I went but very welcoming and lovely locals

We went sameplace on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy

It was all couples the night we went and no single blokes at all

We have been a couple of years ago.

Was a short taxi ride from the centre to the pub/club.

A knock on the door and a small shutter opened to see who it was, presumably to decide who was or wasn't coming in.

Entry was a fixed fee which included some drinks and then the rest of the drinks worked on a bar tab system.

Place itself was full of couples, don't recall any singles and was certainly more of a bar than a club, nothing like the clubs over here. We went on a Friday night.

If you are used to the club scene then same place will be tame in comparison

We wrote this review on another thread last summer, hope it helps:

We visited SamePlace last Sunday evening (26/6/16) - Couples only night.

Guests - We arrived around 10.30pm and stayed until just gone 2am. It was a quiet night with only 8-10 couples, however those who did turn up were all fairly hot, and except for two dutch couples all tourists.

Venue - We found the venue very clean and welcoming. The bar/club is across two floors. A bar, dance floor and around 5 bedding areas on the ground floor. A dungeon with further play areas can be found in the basement.

Drinks - Entrance was free, however there was a 15 Euro minimum bar spend per couple. We had 5x bottles of beer (330ml) and 5x small wines, total cost 45 Euros. They run a bar tab, payable at the end.

Music - Dance music / Pop

Smoking - There is a sealed off area to the side of the bar where you can smoke behind glass.

Summary - We had a good time, however it would be nice to see it on a busier Fri/Sat night.

If you're in Amsterdam and don't want the expense and hassle of visiting Fata Morgana or Fun4Two give it a go. It's walkable from the centre.

Someplace is excellent. Different theme nights, but the couples night obviously won't have single guys.

Friendly because it is run by the members themselves.

Upstairs there's a traditional looking bar but with a small dance floor and play bed beside it.

Downstairs there is a playroom, swing and darkroom. This is where the real action is.

hi guys, myself and FB r heading to Amsterdam at weekend and going to Fata Morgana on Saturday night, would love to meet some uk folk there????????
