Always end up booking hotels miles off. Would be nice if there was one in walking distance!

Obviously taxis exist so not the end of the world.

Any Questers know of handy places?

Ever heard of manners mate? Pointless comment. I asked for actual quest goers their honest opinion and I got it.

There is also the Midland in Woodlesford. Its a pub which does rooms. If you have money there is the DeVere in Oulton. There are not any hotels within walking distance of Quest. Hope this helps.

The Brookfield hotel on Hunslet Road is within walking distance. Very basic but clean with en suite.

It's walkable from either the Brookfield or the Holiday Inn Express at Clarence Dock (Armouries Drive). Otherwise, anywhere in the city centre and Hunslet Cars charge a fiver fixed fare to Hunslet from town

Yes, free parking and plenty of spaces. Good for last minute booking too.

Missed that one thanks. Nice to have a forum thread which does not get personal but is full of useful advice.

BTW when I meant walking distance I assume there is a lady in heels.

Decent standard of room? I always drive so handy parking is good too.
