I won't have any time off until then and weekends will be packed, but I'd like to get down there at some point in December. " Yes, I'm pretty sure it will be open. As I was leaving there a week or so ago, someone was asking about Christmas and New Year opening hours and I'm pretty sure they said they are only closed Christmas Day. Weekends are not packed at this time of the year. In fact if you prefer it a bit quieter where certain rooms/facilities are more readily available, I'd say this is a better time of year to go....ignoring temperature! | |||

Can't wait to see that I'm intrigued how it looks now "Yes it was quite nice not to have to go 'fully outside' yesterday when entering/leaving the pool. Hard to get used to though!
Although I do agree with changing the entrance/exit location for these colder months, be careful when leaving the pool area as there is a very slight step up as you go through the plastic vertical strips (I'm sure they've got a name, but can't think of it). Although for most of the day my attentions were very...err...focused, I saw at least two people trip on that and I nearly did myself on one occasion near the end of the day. It's not an obvious (small) step, especially when it's dark. | |||

Yes it was quite nice not to have to go 'fully outside' yesterday when entering/leaving the pool. Hard to get used to though!
Although I do agree with changing the entrance/exit location for these colder months, be careful when leaving the pool area as there is a very slight step up as you go through the plastic vertical strips (I'm sure they've got a name, but can't think of it). Although for most of the day my attentions were very...err...focused, I saw at least two people trip on that and I nearly did myself on one occasion near the end of the day. It's not an obvious (small) step, especially when it's dark. "I hope they do something about it as I'm clumsy as hell! Im not going now today sorry guys.
