Best clubs within 50 miles of Staffordshire? Not afraid of going alone, don't want to get hassled but want to be made welcome! Any ladies with experience of going alone can suggest good one? Fankoo xx

There is Atlantis in Stoke itself, never been but take a look at the club reviews section for that and other local clubs.

Amour in Manchester Very sexy club Loads of single ladies go. Usually 100 plus most weekends. Plus we've a house round the corner with two spare rooms to sleep over for free. Saves the hotel or having to stay on soft drinks. Xx

Been going there alone for 7 years. Bar staff will look after a single lady there just make them aware. Other clientele are friendly too- without being creepy xx

You need to decide what you want from a club. Do you want a wet club (one that has hot tub, steam room and the like) or one without. Ones without normally have a stricter dress code than ones with, where it would be normal to dress in a towel or nice lingerie....

Once you have decided that then this should narrow the list down a bit for you.

Hi, the Atlantis club is a great friendly club you would be made very welcome by the owners Cat & Tag and also by the other members too their is always newbies coming along plus regular swingers too, and remember you are in full control what happens weather want to play or just watch others it'a got a lovely social aspect to the club down stairs their is a bar where you can take your own alcohol or you can buy soft drinks or hot drinks for £1 also downstairs their is a dance floor and relaxing sofas to relax or chat and then upstairs is where all the action goes on but when you arrive you wil be shown around, the first visit you need to take a photo ID and a household bill. Friday nights is Couples, single females and males, Saturday night is couples and single females only and both nights it's 9pm until 3am. Hope this has give you an I site to the Atlantis club once you have been you be back for more. John

As as single lady I attended Amour last year for the first time by myself and honestly I couldn't of had a better time

All the staff are lovely and each time I went I had a great evening

I found everyone to be very respectful obviously as a single lady you will get a lot of attention it's just upto you how much fun you choose to have xx

Me I always go to Chameleons by myself! Never had any issues inside the club! But had with taxi driver,but the club told them off! And Mark and carl are lovely! Xx

Chams is spot on. Staff are brilliant, everyone in there seems to get on in a non-pressurised environment. Been a member for about 3 years, just reminds me, my membership has run out. The decor is the best I've come across in all the clubs I've been in and you can stay for £30 a night in rooms that are comfortable and all have decent bathrooms.

Townhouse is my favourite. I only ever go as a single female and the staff and other people there are always spot on. I feel totally safe, it's clean and tidy too.

There is of course, La Chambre in Sheffield.

As a single girl, you'll be made to feel welcome by a lovely team, and us regulars will ensure that you're safe and sound. Dependent on what you're looking for and the day you pop in, there's a good balance of couples and singles on the mixed night (Friday), plenty of great couples and other single girls on Saturday, with Sunday's and Wednesday's being mixed but a little more relaxed...

There's 2 Premier Inns, an Ibis and a Travelodge close on if you decide to stay overnight, but it's also close on to central Sheffield too. If you're a driver, it's about 10 minutes away from Junction 34 of the M1.

Stay at chams,its on-site rooms. Literally you walk out your door and your in the club. Back door lets you out should you need to leave in the night.

I am aware you have heard mixed reviews about Atlantis, but if you want to give it a whirl I am organising a social in October specifically for newbies. A pub meet, then go on to the club as a small group.

Totally agree with what my gorgeous girlie has said. We all remember our first time clubbing, how nerve racking it was. The more friendly faces and support that ladies have will make club nights more attractive for us girlies.

They're only charging £5, I told them it should be more. When I first started going it was £8 and plenty single fems went. Where else can I go that offers a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and various other rooms for that price, along with the cleanliness of course.

Chams is my favourite club and go as a single female quite often, staff there are amazing and will look out for you. The attic is a great club too and the staff are great, but personally I'm not comfortable with going alone, even though I know plenty do.

I go to Townhouse on my own at least a couple of nights a week and have always been made to feel absolutely welcome.

I often remark how I am much more comfortable at Townhouse on my own than I ever would be in a local bar. The staff make sure to be welcoming and I always feel secure in the knowledge that there's always someone around to chat to.

Wherever you end up I hope you have an amazing first time experience and I'm sure you'll soon be wondering why you didn't do it years ago
