Need some help please!

Going to my first TG event and the dress code is described as:

Enforced Fantasy Dress Code:

Fetish, Body Art, Burlesque, Berlin Kabaret, Medical, Militaria, Moulin Rouge, Venice Carnival, Circus Freakshow, Top Hat & Tails

No Regular Suits (even with a hat!!) / No Regular Kilts / No Casual Streetwear / No Jeans (even black) / No Fashion Camo / No Cotton T-shirts / No Cheap Fancy Dress Copies! No regular black trousers (head to toe fetish fantasy outfits, not just a top!)

I'm a size 16-18, and I have no idea what to wear! They're very strict on their dress code and I don't want to get us refused entry because I don't look right.

Suggestions please!

My experience in recent years is you won't get turned away at the door. It has become very diluted recently. Especially the bigger events in London and Edinburgh.

However, for my first TG I was much bigger than I am now. I wore a Latex nurses outfit from a local sex shop, with accessories (it was their Halloween ball). So maybe think along those lines.

Essentially if you would feel comfortable wearing in the High Street, you shouldn't be wearing it to TG.

My first TG there was the most amazingly sexy m2f there who wore nothing but a jewelled buttplug.

There are still amazing outfits at TG.

The first time I went I dressed like Marie Antoinette, complete with regency style clothing, makeup and pink bouffant. The second time I wore a victorian gothic outfit.

I feel the more outrageous your dress, the better time you have. It really is just a place to be completely outrageous.

But then I'm no shrinking violet

There is a lot of nakedness at TG so if your confident enough wear nothing but high heels, maybe add a few accessories like a jewelled or studded collar

Lol, definitely not going naked, I'd mentally scar people for life!

I think as their page mentions burlesque and circus, maybe something along those lines?

Moulin rouge is easy, I've only ever been to one event and that was killing kittens, I wore a basque long gloves, frilly knickers, suspenders and heels!

Me again, another quick one - footwear this time!

I can't wear heels due to an old fracture, so need something with a chunky heel/wedge or preferably flat.

What kind of footwear could I get away with? Sorry for being a total noob

Sequined pumps in a colour to match your outfit.

You could be a circus showgirl. I've made some amazing tall feather hair bands in my time. Can email you tips of needs be. Also... You could get a flowing black skirt, hoick it up to your thighs on either side and put a few stitches in to create a bussle type skirt! Add padding on your bum to emphasise your curves! Stocking and suspenders, maybe striped for the circus theme and a corset. Jobs a gooden!

Message me if you need anymore tips. I used to be a seemstress.

I'd love that but concerned about being barefoot in a club - crushed tootsies!

Scotland

We went to one in London at the beginning of the year and coming up with ideas for what to wear was a great part of it.

It was a love/hate theme for Valentine's and Mrs made herself a very reveling wedding type dress and we chained ourselves together both painted had to toe in silver body paint.

It was funny buying the chain in B&Q, wrapping it and each other to see hire much we'd need. Got some funny looks.

We enjoyed that rather than just buying an expensive latex outfit. Which is fine if latex is your thing. It was great seeing all the weird and wonderful costumes.
