I'm thinking about to going to a club on my own the week after next whilst my children are away.

Anyway who has gone on their own? Any tips? Did you find it easy to get chatting to people? I'm fairly confident. I'm in Somerset so any recommendations for clubs in that sort of area?

Really want to make the most of my free time!!

You will be made welcome. I no I'm male and it probably a bit diffrent to a woman going alone. But in general people put you at ease by speaking to you. There a great crowd. Xx

There were loads of single women Xtasia last weekend on both nights. The ones we know and speak to say that they feel safer in Swingers Clubs than in regular NightClubs and can get what they want in a no pressure environment or just enjoy the sexy vibe.

I go to clubs on my own also. I have to say I have always felt safe comfortable and relaxed, and every time ive been its been a fantastic night (play or not) Socially its a great place to meet and possibly get to know potential friends to go with in future... Not sure about your area of course but im sure you will have an excellent time

glad you are going to club......I love going on my own, always have fun, I am very lucky that my hubby lets me indulge myself. I am not near you area so don't have a club to recommend but I do have a tip for you......when I go somewhere new I always ask for a tour and I tell the staff I haven't been as a single before, that way they can look out for you....mind you I have always found the single guys and couples I meet are very respectful......enjoy! m x

I have been going to clubs alone for quite some time both before meeting my partner and after and i always have a ball even if if i dont move from the bar/lounge all night play is a bonus but not essential to me having a great night

Just let the staff know your flying solo for the 1st time and they will look after you like your precious cargo hun and make sure their fav regulars are on hand to settle you in n keep an eye on you

You sound like a confident lady n there is nothing more attractive to others be it single guys or cpls so i am sure you will have lots of peeps wanting to say hi n take you under their wing

good luck hunny n do come back n tell all well not all but the bits about your evening that made it fun n fabulous so other ladies thinking of a solo adventure say hell yehhh i need some of that

I attend TheUnit blackpool swinging club on my own and have been well looked after. The first time I attended they gave me a tour and answered any questions I had and the owners even took time sit with me and chat and got introductions to others. This made the experience a lot easier for me I feel safe and get plenty of play. Never looked back since.

Just because you are a single woman should not be a reason not to attend by yourself as single men do.

From my experience there are often a number of single women in clubs. Take the tour explain you are new. Sit at the bar as it's the best place to meet people. If you talk to the bar staff you will soon be talking to the rest of the club goers too.

i go to ladies events alone - i was very out of my comfort zone when i attended a regular club session on my own - and i had no intention of playing unless i found a willing fem - cant explain it just didnt feel right for me - but loads do and love it - as confident as i appear i think im a wuss underneath

Being single i always attend clubs alone, over all I've had no problems i have on the odd occasion found guys to get pushy when they realise you 'have no man to look out for you' its not often though

You may wish to try Angels, that's in Melksham and having just seen your post about 'sitting at the bar if needs be' then you may enjoy this place as it's small enough to be able to see what's going on and the bar staff are always friendly and chatty and you may find this a good first place to go....

I went for the first time last week, to a women only night, which was lively, a great introduction I think, and everyone was friendly and I had no issues and a great time playing, but personally I would still be a little wary of going to a mixed night alone, I would like to play with both but feel a bit intimidated not knowing anyone, so hoping to find someone to come with me, I need a wing man or woman!

Lots go to Chams and they all seem to have fun there. They say it's more comfortable for them in a swingers club than a normal club

I have,and even though totally nervous, I find that once you latch yourself from one spot and move, you realise it's good to talk,but you find your also checked on to see if your ok and what not.

I done daytime mainly,but want to try the evenings and maybe meet more lovely people

I've been to angels several times and really liked it but my ex goes there and I know that the night I go he will be there and I really don't fancy that happening!

I know quite a few single ladies who go to clubs on their own. If you tell the staff your there by yourself and are new they should show you around and introduce you to some of the regulars.

I still tend to sit at the bar. Watch the world go by and chat to people when they come to the bar.

I wouldn't dream of going to a pub alone, but feel safe at a swingers club. You know people will keep an eye out for you. The regulars would not allow anything to happen to upset you, as well as the staff looking out for you.

Just go for it and have a great evening.

Try Gems. I always feel safe there. We went as a couple but were newbies to the scene. The owners really looked after us. When we ventured into the play rooms I noticed that the owners son was always in the background keeping an eye on us. It was very reassuring.

I go alone sometimes and have always been made to feel very welcome and guys have been respectful. I've been walked back to my vehicle with no expectations too so, some real gents about.

Even if it's just to socialise I'm upfront about it and people are just as happy to join you at a table and natter or,have a dance so go for it.
