So, my buddy InnocentLooksDirtyMind and I are on the hunt for a club to celebrate her birthday at in August.

Townhouse is our local, we are going to Xtasia on Friday. We already have other plans to go to Quest and VA with other friends after the summer. I have also been to Atlantis. So these are off the cards.

We are happy to travel and make a weekend of it so distance isn't an issue. We don't mind single guys too, so restricted numbers isn't important.

For me it's Chams in Darlaston and Decadent Nights in Burnham on sea. Both are clean, great locations, have a friendly atmosphere and always a good mix of people

La chambre in Sheffield is a fantastic club XX it is a night club for swingers and also now features the UK 's first female glory hole room xx

Our two favourite clubs are Eureka in Kent and No 3 in Chorley. Very different but both very special.

As you are looking to make a weekend of it then we did that at Eureka staying on site in a cabin in the grounds and went by train and it was fabulous

Cupids in Swinton gets my vote. I've had my birthday there for the past couple of years. I'm lucky that my birthday is at the end of the month when they hold their big theme monthly party.

It's my fellas birthday this week and we'll be celebrating it on Saturday at the toga and gladiator party. There's always a good turn out. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. You really do get looked after. Have fun wherever you celebrate it x

It's very much swinging. There are some that go who are nudist so it isn't assumed everyone plays but they have a lovely meadow and woods where play is totally acceptable. I believe it's ok around the pool but it only just opened and was freezing when we were there so no one was in the area so not 100% on that.

Nudism is also not expected so although you see it, it's not a requirement and quite the opposite people tend to really get dressed up from what we saw of the party nights and then, through choice rather than rules, lots of ladies slipped into something more comfortable later on.

They have a handful of playrooms, two large hot tubs and a sauna and party nights each weekend.

The lodges are cute and easily accessible from the main building.

Single men are welcome however I've never seen somewhere manage it so well. The rule on site as explained to us was you can ask anyone to back off or say no, if they continue or persist they are asked to leave. We did witness one man get a bit "needy/clingy" and it was making a few people uncomfortable. It wasn't long before he was asked to leave.

It seemed like a good balance as we didn't get followed and when being watched we were given space when asked.

We found it a surreal sexy little hideaway, great for a break as it's open all day as well as the party nights, with regulars who were so friendly and set in beautiful grounds.

We went the first May Bank hols and will definitely be back next time we can arrange childcare for a long weekend again

ive been to abfabs, mingles, jaydees, town house , infusions, chams, liberty elites and xtasia now, my favourite is jaydees, because of the friendliest atmosphere and attitude of not only the staff, but, the people that go there, of any of them. st neots, bedfordshire.

VA every time for us, friendly, clean, welcoming, classy, great play areas, cheap and well stocked bar and a hot tub to die for. To be fair we've only been to Jaydees otherwise, so don't have a lot to compare to, but VA has set the bar very high and will take some beating.

Have you thought of clubs for a weekend break like Amsterdam - there are some lovely ones such as Club Paradise or further afield.... You get to play tourist during the day and get to play in the evenings ... Great management - Play on a Saturday .... Language barrier is no barrier... Just a thought X

You will love the VA - super atmosphere and great crowd

Of the clubs not already on your list...

We like Abfabs and Secrets. Both have a really good mix of people and they seem to draw in a good number. They have a large selection of rooms, too. Everyone we've met there have been friendly. We also love a good road trip and both are sufficiently far away for us to indulge.

Secrets is in Devon. It's basically a very large house - pool, hot tub, play rooms, and a few outdoor lodges. You bring your pillow and blanket and stay overnight. It's good fun, but quite a distance from the north!
