I guess the big difference here is that clubs such as BMFC and EWS cater for women and couples who want to play with mainly single black guys. There aren't many nights that cater for women who want lots of single guys of any colour. Most clubs are aimed at couples and bi women. Some single white guys probably feel disenfranchised by this.

How good intentioned threads get kicked to the curb quickly.

Most club nights are 90% white clientele. This is not to count all the private parties where black single males are excluded.

Helen pioneered the interracial parties because black males could not get into parties. Helen would also tell you all races are welcome at BMFC.

I would say that given that the couples are mainly white l cannot see how that white males are under represented.

A white man fan club to be the correct polar opposite would involve single white males mixing with black couples and single women predominantly black, but that would also exclude thick smart alec prejudiced types.

Can we not put this issue to bed please and people concentrate on what they like and leave others alone.

Yes White men AND Asian men can go to a BMFC event. And to be honest, we do get regular white and Asian single men.

I wouldn't see anyone complaining if you had a White Mans appreciation event.. In fact, if I remember rightly, someone tried it and it flopped.. I know for a fact Helen has spent a lot of time talking to a lady once who wanted to start White Mens events and didn't even bother.. There's a task for you.. If you want any advice feel free to give either of us a message X

So true ozzz. And you're very correct. Helen did start the parties for that reason too. Times have slightly changed in the swinging scene since 13+ Years ago and it's easier for black males to get into ordinary clubs/parties. However, we have a brand, and a popular brand at that. Black males know that if they come to our parties, it's one hurdle down. At least the ladies / couples who are there 'like' black men.. As we know from many profiles on here that some people don't 'like' black men. So although the men at our parties still need to make the effort with the ladies/couples, at least they know they're not going to be turned down 'because they're black' and more to do with not bringing their A-Game!!

Do ya know what.. I'm proud of what Helen has done anyway, she has set an example for the many 'other' party organisers who want to have a 'target audience' ie Under 35s, BBW, Newbie Nights, Interracial etc.. She's always giving advice to organisers. She's good at what she does and a lot of venue owners respect her for it. As long as there is the demand there, the parties will continue whether some people disagree or not..

Unfortunately people will always be quick to criticise but we can take it on the chin... We are thick skinned..

We know one thing we are not, and we are NOT discriminatory..

I'm white and have been to many BMFC events since it started. There are always plenty of white couples and single guys there.

Helen and Tash do a fabulous job of making the parties fun, safe, professional and welcoming to all.

Obviously most women and couples there prefer black men but if you accept this and like the vibe you will be absolutely fine.

Let's see if they run for 13+ years like the BMFC has and get over 16,000 members

I've said it once and I'll say it again. The BMFC will continue to run for as long as there is the demand. Until guests stop coming, we will continue to have BMFC nights. There's a few more years left in Helen, and there's PLENTY more left in me.. So bring it on

well the vast majority of white women are with white men in relationships and don't need to hide behind the net or closed doors to get there rocks off so obviously there wouldn't be much call for Bwc because they have it everyday at home

This is why I run this night and tbh its a very mixed cultural night mainly I think due to fact the single white guy can be one of the most unreliable group on the scene ( i believe there are other nights for others ie wmfc etc elsewhere )include the fact that the single guy is alienated by most clubs and people have the totally wrong image doesn't make for easy pickings .

Ive been to 2 clubs on a bmfc night. I didnt play as its not my preference but the nights were very good the people very friendly and respectful ..and the clientele mixed . I went with a partner as his friends attended..

The only way to see if a night is for you is to attend and keep open mind.

If your friendly non pushy and have right attitude youll enjoy most nights whatever colour your skin.whrther you play or not .

Its your attitude that counts xx

Last year i was unable to attend a few parties (which i let the organiser know in advanced) for this i have been banned even after apologising sincerely countless times. I find this very disrespectful seeing as i have bought much custom to these events. i Find the owner very rude and speaks to black men like children.

I am very surprised that you would want to bring this to a public forum however i would have no issue displaying the many text conversations that we have had over the last 12 months

You have wasted your place 7 times and on NONE of those occasions did you inform me that you were not going to show up to the party

Instead, you left us waiting at the door and only ever informed me AFTER the party when i forst contacted you

Each time after the event you apologised and promised never to do it again asking for my forgiveness

Each time i gave you yet another chance

Wasting places is not fair on other guests - my rules and advice in relation to this and other aspects of the BMFC are clearly displayed all over the BMFC website for all to see

I state that anyone who doesnt show up to 3 parties without contacting me will be considered to be a time waster - yet i gave you 7 chances

I am guilty of allowing you to abuse my good nature way too many times - yet because i no longer trust your words you have decided to try to bad mouth me on a public forum

You know deep down inside that i am speaking the truth - for goodness sake on one occasion i even squeezed you onto the guest list when you contacted me on the DAY OF A PARTY, and for that one you didnt show up!!!

I have explained myself to you countless times - i have never ignored ANY of your correspondence regardless of how may times i have had to repeat myself

I have backed down too many times believing your apologies - yet you have repeatedly wasted your places

Do i talk to all Black men like children? - of course not - Only the ones that dont listen!!!

in all honesty you have your side of things and i have mine i just find you rather rude and ive spoken with many male members who feel the same. I enjoy/enjoyed your parties no doubt about that at all. the last party i was invited to which i could not attend (radlets) i did let you know in advance in fear of you reacting like you are now only for you to respond with "you are taking the piss now".till this day i still recommend your event and bring custom to you from time to time. ive been to more of your parties that i have missed. I feel like ive been treated wrongly. but fair enough i understand you have a business to run

Funny as to my knowledge we have never 'spoken'

You do however show a real interest in the BMFC and our parties so it would be lovely to meet you face to face at one of them real soon
