"A friend of mine has kindly provided the address of the journalist after doing some investigation . I won't post on here but if you want to contact him direct with some feedback let me know. " Unfortunately I would not recommend that be given out to anyine. If the journalist receives abuse at his home he can call the police and the people concerned could end up with criminal records themselves. | |||

I've just called ipso and they have said you can have them taken down or pixelated under the clause 2 privacy act, you need to fill out a complaints form on the ipso website and call the editor and tell them you have taken a case up with ipso under the clause 2 privacy act, this may get it sorted quicker, she also said if lots of people call the editor, it may help, so I've put a help thread up in the lounge, hope this helps,  Mrs blue eyes | |||

Social media being what it is and a internet savvy generation these things are never going to be either private or secure environments. I have seen pics that's people have posted on thier profiles which were taken at the event, so if swingers themselves can't be trusted to protect the identity of fellow swingers why should the media care ? It's not the first time there has been a breach of security at Swingfields it happens last year also efferena was plagued with media coverage so it's of no suprise it happened this year. When you mass market a event as Swingfields is you lose control of who attends and end up with completely un known or verified guests. Therefore running the risk of this happening. The cynic in me often wonders if these breaches in security are often encouraged by the organisers as the amount of people who stop going due to it will be hugely outweighed by the influx of new punters going next year due to the free advertising provided by the sun so is it a case that you won't stop it so why not embrace it. That said It would be impossible for the organisers to stop it whatever protocol was put it place. I do wonder if the people who were outed and upset by it have ever read the sun or some other low rent paper and read a article about the Personal life or troubles of a celebrity ? As lots are happy to intrude in the private lives of others but are upset when it happens to them. " i looked at pics in sun and so shocked at how easy you can see faces . I was at the event as a human being not for any physical difference I may have whether its height, obesity disability. We were all there because we are human beings having fun .....I am fuming especially as that bitch kept smiling and looking at me during the life modelling sessions and shyed away from doing any sketching..... why the hell didn't any of us recognise her as she's renowned for sensational articles ..... " We have been effected it a similar way , the management of our local club were discussing with vanilla people who attended thier club and as a result we were outed and recieved anonymous letters etc. We have had to deal with it and as a result we no longer go to the club but have had to accept that what we do is of interest to people either for gossip or to sell papers, and it's a risk we take. I don't agree with what has happened but sadly it a fact of life and it's happened before at every event so it's not like people were not warned we all do these things knowing the risk and choose to continue sadly it just comes with the territory. | |||

"We have asked the Editor of the Sun to justify why he thought that publishing pictures of our faces was in the Public Interest and not of interest to the public. We just received an email from him saying that he is investigating our complaint and will reply to me tomorrow. Depending on his response will determine if we are taking legal action or not. They probably took a lot of pics but only published the really salacious ones. The organisers said at the start that they couldn't do anything unless people told them. I would have bugged them until they did, but I didn't see anyone taking pics. And judging from the location of the pics, people stood right in front of them didn't see them taking the pics. The organisers sorted an excellent weekend (weather notwithstanding) but people are angry with them! As if they're the ones who caused this. As if this won't affect whether there is a SF next year at all. This is their business. Do you really think they aren't having exactly the same misgivings as everyone else?
