Hi,

Thanks for all the messages regarding Google announcing the premature demise of Le Boudoir, but I am pleased to tell you all that we NOT permanently closed.

Not sure why/how/when the Google algorithm decided to announce that we we had closed, but we are in fact, in rude health

Why would Google announce your closure....it's a search engine, it must have found the story somewhere.

This may explain things. Google now displays the opening hours of businesses, presumably harvested from their websites. if you Google that business you get the results panel with a link to directions and it's website and it shows you whether a business is open or closed at that time. So Google on Sunday morning and it's closed, but do the same at say 11pm on Saturday and it will show its open.

Bristol Area

Make sure you "claim" the place on Google, they will verify by posting a card out to you. You will then be able to manage the opening times, pics and all sorts of other good stuff.

To the club owner - sign in to your Google business listing and correct the times yourself.

If the Google business listing was set up outside of your control you can regain control of it by clicking the validation link and Google will send you a a validation card through the post. You have to return it the same way and once done they will give you control of the listing.

It does take about 6 weeks (because of post really) but you can fix it.

We have claimed the business and we have sing end in to Google Business and corrected a few things.

Hopefully we have resolved it now but there were plenty of people over the weekend who thought we had closed permanently.

A thanks all. Hope to see you on Bi Weds or Friday this week. Saturday is already sold out! Woo hoo.

I'm glad it's not closed as that would mean my attendance on Saturday was a 'Fight club' moment.... And I pretty sure the amazing time and relaxed atomsphere wasn't just in my mind...

Oh well, I had better return on the 21st with PHEONIX just to find out... Lol
